Neo-DeathNote Game v1.0

The way I searched, it was darn obvious. I even made it even MORE obvious hoping I'd catch someone's attention, but even that failed. It isn't the golden age of the game anymore, so the detectives didn't look at the fact that I was literally on for an entire day, browsing old threads. Even with the limitless kills, it isn't making the game any better. Players don't know what to look for and accuse randomly. I still remember the adrenaline rush I had everyday when I was Kira and killed almost every detective and those posted in the thread and of course playing around with Repliku...starting the trend of calling Repliku L, ICSP Ryuk, and me Light.

Either accept it, or don't...but this game died last summer '08, when all the original players left.

 

I wonder how many peeps know your name.. Other than me 'n' Pyrth.

And, you do not count me as an original player, Pyrth?

 

Seems quite dead here.

 

You know what sucks... I accused Pyro and didn't get credit for it. :(

07-18-2009, 10:06 AM - is when I posted my accusation. So technically, I should win still, as deaths were posted for 12:00.


Another thing.. I think that having the unlimited kills is cool, but some of the old rules were there to make the game more challenging for kiras and detectives. It just seems the game is missing challenge now. Maybe we should try to spruce up the game and get things more solid because the only thing now to do is for Kira to beat former kiras in named kills before some detective gets lucky.

It also feels like kira victories or detective victories are kind of like not even cheered or recognized anymore by the shinigami. we just move on to the next game and sometimes things aren't even being paid attention to, like the fact i posted at 10:06 and the deaths would be at 12:00.. so even though we all would have died... I still would have solved the case. in the end there, Pyro and I would have won... and both died. Kind of like Light and L.. >.> I'm going to stop thinking now.

 

@Mango: She's just filled with epic. Unlike the trailer I saw for New Moon yesterday, while waiting for HBP to begin. It was full of shit.

 

Actually Rep, I sent my kills some 48 hours before they were actually posted. I offcially killed everyone at 12:00 AM on 07/17/2009. I laughed so much when I saw you accuse me. :33

I need to think. I'll be taking some time off from this site. The whole CtR thing is making me fill with rage. I am relinquishing this game to Repliku or Pyro. If they don't want it, someone else take it.

 

I'd like to try being Shinigami. I've always wanted to try it. Just so I know what it's like.

 

Eh, I'd think if you are still -alive- at the time of accusation and not killed, it would count, but ah well, could care less in the end.

As for the other thing... I don't even want to comment.

 

Its a fact. Although Pyro still gets credit for the kills.

 

In that case, I had solved Pika's case last round. I say, all three gets the credit then. Pika and I get our kills and I get Pika's round and you get mine.

Uhh...where exactly ARE the scores?

 

There are no scores since no one has been keeping them. I've solved 3 cases to include this one, but i won't bother counting it though I was killed after the time by 2 hours heh. This was one of the things I was pointing out that no one is even taking scores anymore on kills or wins etc. There were a fair number of games played that I have no idea who won or what.

 

Is it safe to say that the game is really dead now?

 

In the end, as I said before, I think we should revamp it to use both some of the ideas from this game but also go back to older rules that made it more challenging. It is too easy for kiras and detectives now. It'd be nice to have misa/mikamis again and such.

I do have a couple ideas on how to change the game up that maybe later tonight we can talk on msn or something and see what we all think.

 

Perhaps revamping the rules and ideas may help. I honestly did like the game when there were certain rules involved, challenging all the players. We can talk this over MSN later tonight, no problem. We [or I] can also dig through old games and collect all the wins and scores too.

 

Idea! Possibility of Kira winning the the game by killing a preselected member. The Shinigami would choose him secretly without telling him. If he gets killed, Kira wins. What do you think?

Yeah, since last night didn't happen because I was called out to rl unexpectedly, hopefully we can do this sometime tonight.

 

Ten days might be too long. But I for one would like to know Repliku's revamping ideas. They might be what the game needs to rise to glory once more.
