It's sad because a lot of that is true...Or at least at some point they will be, anyway.

    So very sad.

    Sony is the devil.

I remember when online play was just starting out. Now most games have online play but very little offline 2 player+ co-op.

This bothers me a lot. I really wish there was more offline multiplayer.

Online passes are a desperate bid for money but they shouldn't be working.
PSN was the main reason I got a PS3 as opposed to an Xbox.

    Bad times.

Whole-heartedly agree. The social gaming experience has gone out of style except in fighting games. That is a tragedy.

It's because the masses would rather have good graphics than co-op. Adding offline co-op means that your graphics will take a hit, so that's why companies don't add it anymore. Blame the plebs.

This is all Sony's fault, clearly.

Didn't we already have this conversation, but with you defending plebs?

I was suggesting boycotting companies that that do certain things to change their habits, and you said of course they want to make money.

Passing blame is not going to change anything.

There are a few games like Dead Nation, LBP, Resi 5, and a few others I can't think of, that have good multiplayers but there's so many that could have offline play but don't add it in. Which is annoying if I ever wanted to play with my brothers.

If I remember right Sony's overall business has been suffering from competitors. Didn't they lose a lot from their telly division recently? Pretty sure their mobile products sales are suffering too. And of course there was the whole fiasco with the psn hack which hit them pretty hard.

Sony's dying because of their pride. They won't cut their TV division because it's always been one of their proudest ones. It's a bit of a shame that their pride will be their end.
