Reaper stopped, trapped at a dead end. Garth caught up to him, panting but there none the less. Reaper drew his broad sword, "Why do you always have to follow me? You can't just leave me alone!?"


Garth grinned and drew his other sword, "No...I have....a job to do." He panted and stood up straight, "Pretty soon you'll be to dead to care whether I'm following you. Garth readied his swords, "Well? Why don't you attack me. So things can end just the way they should." He charged at Reaper, "With you dead!"

 

Mya ran back to the city, hoping he want in serious trouble.

Havoc entered the alleyway and made sure that no one was interfering the fight.

 

Reaper blocked his first strike and had to press himself against the wall to avoid his other sword. Garth snarled into his face, "You will never learn. Killing your father was only the beginning. But you...you will be the final link to your lying," he swung his sword at Reaper, clashing with Reaper's broadsword, "Theving," the other sword swung around and caught Reaper on the shoulder as he tried to roll away from the blade. Garth continued, "Pathetic family!" That hit Reaper in a place no sword could touch, "My family never lied, stole or was pathetic in any way! They were good people!" Garth laughed as he easily dodged Reaper's swings.

 

Mya entered the city and looked around for Zane.

Havoc cotinued inspection the fight.

 

Reaper was frustrated that he couldn't hit him, "What the hell!"

Garth shrugged, "Not as strong as you thought you were are you?"

Reaper clenched his fists tightly around his sword's hilt, "You...how dare you mock me!" Reaper lifted his bracer and clicked the new gaget he'd gotten. A loud bang sounded throug the city and Garth flinched.

He looked around, "What was that? A new distraction to help you esca..." He didn't finish his sentence as he felt something warm and wet run down his leg, "What the..."

Reaper's gray eyes lit up, "I hit him. I actually shot him. How does it feel, to be shot?" Reaper lowered his bracer and watched Garth touch the blood on his leg.

Garth shook his head slowly and quickly ran at Reaper, stabbing him in the stomach, "You shouldn't have done that. Filthy assassin, I'm going to enjoy watching you die slowly in prison only to be exicuted before you can die."

Reaper gasped and blood bubbled from his mouth, "Th-this can't be..."

Garth removed his sword, sheathed them and picked Reaper from the ground, "Havoc, we're taking this one with us. He's bound to have friends that'll come for him. We'll be ready for them and in the mean time, we'll see what he knows."

 

Mya saw them appearing from an allyway and hid behind a corner and watching them leave.

Havoc nodded. I'll see to that.

 

Reaper continued to cough up blood as Garth nodded to Havoc, "Good. We'll begin tomorrow at dawn." He carried Reaper on his shoulder out of the allyway, Reaper slowly bleeding to death on his shoulder.

Reaper noticed Mya hiding and tried his best to tell her with a glance not to come for him, no matter how bad he looked.

 

Mya ignored his warning and continued to follow them.

Havoc continued to follow Garth. Hope this plan works. This battle has gone too long.

 

Garth whistled tunelessly, he was happy. He'd found his prize - Reaper/Zane. The one assassin who'd been weaker than him but successful at giving him nightmares. He nodded along with what Havoc was saying.

Reaper couldn't help himself, "F-forgive me...M-Mya..." He passed out from massive blood loss.

Garth stopped and looked quizzically at Havoc, "What did he just say?"

 

Havoc turned around. Mya...she's here. He pulled out his sword. I know you're here Mya! Show yourself!

Mya hid in a corner, not sure what to do. If she didn't come out, he'll die. If she came out, there was a chance she could get Zane back, but very risky.

 

Garth watched Havoc carefully, "And Mya is...?" He pulled Zane off his shoulder and looked at his blood dripping face, thinking, This boy has become a stranger to me. Zane, Reaper, who ever you call yourself. You can't escape your past. Garth set him down on the ground and looked behind him at Havoc looking for a girl that wasn't there.

 

Mya took a deep breath and stepped out of the corner and into the street.

Havoc smiled. There you are. I missed you terribly.

Mya said nothing and fingered her gun if she needed to use it.

 

Garth looked a the girl, "Havoc? She's a child...assassin? How old are you young lady?" Garth slapped Reaper's cheek lightly and stood to face her.

 

Mya glared at Garth. I'm not a child. I'm older than you think. She looked back at Havoc.

Havoc stared back at her. How does it feel? Facing your killer of your parents?

Mya wanted to kill him, but she knew that all he wanted to do is to piss her off.

 

Garth laughed, "Oh are you? Havoc, I think she's here for my dear friend Zane. Isn't that right child? But, oh, Havoc is a problem to you. After all by what he's said, you must be the girl that survived from the village I commanded him to destroy. Oh it was such a shame to have him kill all those people, but a job is a job. Right, Havoc?"

 

Mya hands started to shake in anger. She was now itching to shoot one of them in the head.

Havoc smirked. You're here for Zane I suppose. I'm afraid he's ours for now.

 

Garth nodded, "I'm sorry little one, you can have his lifeless body back when I kill him though. I have no use for another corpse. Though," he glanced at Zane's bleeding body on the ground, "If he dies here, because of you. You'll become our pet and answer all our questions. I'm sure Havoc would have fun interrogating you since he does seem to have quite an interest in you." Garth knelt next to Reaper's body and brushed the hair away from his face. Blood still leaked from the corner of his mouth, "He used to be such a good child. Oh well." He tore off the hidden necklace Reaper wore with the last picture of a little blonde haired girl hanging off of Reaper when he was a young boy.

 

Mya was sick of him talking. She pointed her bracer at Garth and fired a shot at him, hoping it was lethal enough to kill him.

Havoc looked back at her. D-did you just fire that?

 

The shot hit Garth in his neck. Blood gurgled from him and he pressed his hand to it, straining to speak, "The little ***** shot me! I want her head, NOW! I would've let you live you little brat, but now you've sealed your fate!" The color faded from his face and he threw the picture necklace down on the ground.

Reaper came around, feeling cold everywhere. He struggled to open his eyes. When he did, he saw Garth smash the picture necklace he'd hidden from everyone under his armor and clothes. His heart shattered as the little glass broke under Garth's boot. He wanted to get up but the best he could do was blink away the burning sensation in his eyes. He tried to speak but all that came out was a bubble of fresh blood.

 

Havoc drew his sword and stabbed Mya the gut leaving his sword imapled on her.

Mya cried out in pain and fell to the floor. She loaded another shot and managed to pull of another shot at Havoc.

Havoc yelled in pain as the bullet hit him in the side. You're gonna pay for that Mya. He grabbed the sword imapled in Mya and shoved it in deeper into her which made Mya cry out louder and cough up blood.
