Zane smiled, "I always had a crush on you when we were kids. And yes, I know those thoughts could've gotten me into serious trouble but I can't control my thoughts very well. Only my actions...or most of them." His smile he gave her now was rare and honest, completely bare of false pretenses and the lies he held close to him.

 

Mya continued to stare, then gave him a smile. I-I really don't know what to say. No guy in my life have ever confessed to me like that. I suppose I have the same feelings for you as well.

 

Zane frowned, "You suppose?" He opened his mouth to add on when a knock came at her door.

 

Mya looked at the door. Quick! Here! She shoved him into the closet and went up to the door. Who is it?

 

Zane felt crushed in her closet, he tried not to move or make any sound but the innocent tone in her voice made him chuckle quietly.

The man outside Mya's door was the same from downstairs and the morning after they'd first made love. "You haven't seen Reaper have you Mya? I've looked all over for him. He's not in his room so I guessed he might be here talking to you. Do you know where he is, it's kinda important."

 

Mya scratched her head. I don't know. Try checking the library. He said he wanted to study the pieces. She tried not to look at her closet.

 

He sighed and hesitated before leaving, "You alright, Mya? You seem a little...breathless. I haven't interrupted something have I?" He laughed lightly, "Wouldn't it be funny if you had Reaper in there? He is the best womanizer I've ever met!" His laughter reached Zane and he rolled his eyes.

 

Mya rolled her eyes. Seriously? He's not my style. I have things to do now. Thanks for dropping by. She closed the door.

 

The second she shut her door Zane pulled her back against him, "Not your style huh?" He smirked, "Don't you mean you have someone to do?"

 

Mya smiled back. If I said someone, he'd suspect something. Besides, you have to handle a little hate at some times. She planted a kiss on his lips.

 

Zane closed his eyes, thinking, and picked her up again, settling her legs on his hips, "Hmm, so we're pretending we don't like each other at all. You know this doesn't work in your favor to have me all to yourself."

 

Mya smiled and touched the side of his face. Me wanting you? I thought it was the other way around. She bumped her forehead with his.

 

Zane grinned, "Alright so I'll admit it. It might be the other way around but you consented to this. You asked for me to sleep with you. If I may recall that you asked for me to comfort you. You could've just as easily gone back to bed or asked in a completely different way to be comforted." He huffed and lightly bit her chin, "You also didn't have to save me from death. You can see how that leads me to believe you like me much more than you lead on."

 

Mya gave him a small smile. You're right. I guess were both on the same level. Unless the real difference is you attractthe opposite sex and I don't.

 

Zane rolled his eyes, "Are we back to that? Mya, I don't see what you see that keeps whoever these guys are you're trying to attract away." He dropped her on her bed and leaned down to her, "I'll have to come up with a good lie to tell in the morning."

 

Mya sighed. You're right. I gotta stop talking about it. For now though...She grabbed Zane's head and kissed him.

 

Zane lifted his eyebrows and kissed her back. His arms encircling her and pulling her close, until he was kneeling on her bed over her.

 

Mya continued to kiss him and pulled him closer to her until they had full contact.

 

With no room for words, he undressed her. His lips touching all the exposed skin.

 

Mya laid back and enjoyed the feeling of Zane's sensuality. She closed her eyes and took deep breaths.
