Zane lifted his hood slightly to see them better, "Do I get to kill someon yet?" Mya was better at planning than he was. He was just the muscled shield for her.

 

Mya narrowed her eyes. I don't know. They aren't doing anything suspicious yet. Unless...A herald walked up to the Merichi and started a conversation with him. Mya darted her eyes in that direction. Cmon. Let's get closer.

 

Zane stuck by her like gum on hair. His hidden blade at the ready to flick out at anytime. If someone made a move and he was close to it, he was going to stab it. All the people made him nevous.

 

Mya nodded. All of a sudded, a loud bang was cracked throughout the town square. While the Merichi was distracted, the herald pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the back. You're reign in Florence ends here! Before he took another stab, Mye fired a shot at the herald and he fell dead. Soldiers appeared everywhere, fighting other soldiers. Mya ran up and helped the Merichi. Give me a hand! We need to get him to safety!

 

Zane hefted the Merichi onto his shoulder, careful of the wound, "Lead the way. Go!" The commotion was going to get even larger now that they were holding the Merichi.

 

Mya nodded. A couple of guards blocked their way. You're not getting past here! As they said that, arrows struck all of them as they fell dead. Mya continued walking down the path to the safe zone.

 

Zane carried the Merichi. He struggled weakly on his shoulder. "Sir, if you don't want to get hurt anymore, I suggest you stay still. We're here to help, not harm you." He laid still which in it's own way made Zane nervous. The Merichi was still a heavy man and since being poisoned, Zane was still exhausted, "How much farther, Mya!"

 

Mya walked a little faster until she saw some guards run up to her. God! The merichi is injured! Get him in his home! They opened a door and led them both in. One guard grabbed an antidote vial and gave it to Zane. Give this to him. He needs to- A guard ran into the house. The Pazzi made it into the castle! If they continue, we'll lose the city! Mya walked up to the guard. We'll stop them. You guys protect the Merichi.

 

Zane passed off the Merichi to the guard and the vial back, "Make sure he gets the proper treatment, but you guys already know that." He nodded to Mya, "Let's go."

 

Mya nodded and stepped outside. Six white hooded men bowed to her as Mya bowed back. How is the status? The Pazzi are held up in the castle. The war is being lost Assassin. We need to act fast. Mya nodded.

 

Zane anxiously tapped his fingers against his sword after straightening up from a bow. He looked out over the crowd of moving people. "We'll have to make quick work of the Pazzi then. Play time is over."

 

Mya nodded grimly. The air was full of continuous clash of metal. Mya walked into the direction of the palace. She started to climb up a building.

 

Zane quickly followed her.

 

Mya examined the palace. It's too well protected. We can't get inthere without causing a comotion. There has to be a way to get in. She looked around for any way to get in.

 

Zane nodded, "What we need is an open, unnattended window...unless you wanna jump down the chimey like Santa?" he wasn't smiling, completely serious if that's what it took to get into the palace, he'd do it.

 

Mya sighed and shook her head at his joke. Absurd. She spotted an open window with a guard's back turned on them. There's our way in. Cmon! She slid down a slanted rooftop and ran towards the wall.

 

Zane huffed, "Never a dull moment is there." He ran after her, his hidden blade flicked out in case Mya missed.

 

Mya ran up the wall, stabbed the guard in the back, and threw him off the wall into a haystack below them. She slipped threw the window and examine the interior before signaling Zane to come in.

 

Zane hurried up the wall, flipping through it and landing beside her, "Okay, we're in. That was so difficult. Now the harder part. Lady's first."

 

Mya gave him a small smile. Think it won't get easier. She stepped out and entered the throne room, Japaco ordering some soldiers around the room.
