Zane brushed her hair back from her face. Still thinking. Suddenly it hit him. "Ryku!" he jumped from the bed and started to pull on his clothes. "That *******!"

 

Mya yelped and fell of the bed in surprise. Ack! Raiken? She got back up and covered herself with the blanket.

 

Zane blinked and looked back at her, "Huh? Oh, sorry Mya. But Ryku gave my sister the exact same ring. He must have pawned it to Japaco after she died for something. I gotta find Ryku."

 

Mya nodded. Alright then. She planted a light kiss. I'll stay here.

 

Zane nodded, resisting the urge to climb back into bed with her. "Alright, I'm gonna kill him but I'll be back." Zane dashed out of the house and tugged Zee from the bushes, "Idiot." Zee groaned, "Ow ow ow, jeez man. C'mon, wait, where are we going?" Zane pulled him along, "You know where Ryku is don't you." "What? Ryku? I haven't seen him since we both competed for Annabelle's love. Obviously he won but..." Zane slapped him, "Focus, where is Ryku." Zee rubbed his red cheek, "He's with the damn Templars, why?" Zane growled, "I was afraid of that. What would be the reason he'd sell Annabelle's ring to the Templars for?" Zee, still rubbing his cheek shrugged, "Information? A place with the Templars, to be in their good graces? I dunno. How can an idiot like him win Annabelle's love?" Zane walked back to the door, "Then there's no way I'm getting at him tonight." Zee followed him, "Hey, why are you staying there? You got someone in there? You look kinda ruffled, Reaper. Got a new girlfriend?" Zane glared at him, "No. Go home Zee."

 

Mya sighed and wandered around the room, still not dressed. Bope you don't get into too much trouble. She jumped back onto the bed.

 

Zane pushed Zee away from the door to the house, "Go back home Zee. How many times do I have to say it!" Zee narrowed his eyes at him, "Why are you acting this way Reaper! What have you go to hide? Why do you want at Ryku? It's not like you knew Annabelle, how do you even know Ryku?" Zane shoved him against the wall, "I just do, so stop asking questions!" Zane left Zee on the wall with a hurt look and leaned against the door to Mya and his bedroom, "How did it come to this?"

 

Mya heard some shouting outside and opened her door slightly. Zane? Is everything alright?

 

Zane was glad Zee had left as he'd asked. "It's fine Mya. I'll find Ryku in the morning. He's with the Templars now. Some loyalty a brother-in-law has to his family. Zee...he's growing suspicious, I don't know what to say to him anymore, Mya."

 

Mya sighed and pulled him into the room with her. If you don't know what else to say, then I suppose the truth could only be your best option.

 

Zane hugged her, "You think telling him about myself is right?" He nodded as if answering his own question, "You should be there so I don't start spilling other details he doesn't need to know, like about you and me."

 

Mya frowned. I don't know. Look into your heart and see what's the right move.

 

Zane closed his eyes, "I should tell him the truth. It's not right lying to the only guy who's stuck by me throughout my life." He smiled at Mya, "Nothing about you and I though. He wouldn't understand. I'll tell him in the morning."

 

Mya smiled. Alright then. She kissed him.

 

Zane picked her up and returned her to bed, "Now we have to start all over again." He mumbled against her neck.

 

Mya smiled and licked his neck. Is that bad?

 

Zane shuddered, "No, not at all." He nibbled along her jaw and undressed, "At least, it's not bad to me."

 

Mya smiled. Well enjoy it while you can.

 

Zane shifted closer to her, "What does that mean? You going somewhere?"

 

Mya purred softly and lightly bit his lip. I'm just saying time will pass by fast.
