Zane laughed and kissed her lightly, "And what would make you happy, my love."

 

Mya snuggled against him. For you to never leave this bed, but that can wait till later. She unwrapped her arms and sat up.

 

Zane got up and tossed her clothes at her, "This will be another long day. I can feel it already." he rolled his shoulders as he strapped on the lightweight armor under his cloak.

 

Mya grabbed the clothes and tugged them on. Long day...I hope not. She sheathed her weapons.

 

Zane lifted her face to his with a finger under her chin, "Once I tell Zee I'll meet you back here okay? Then we'll handle the rest of the day."

 

Mya smiled and nodded. Alright. I'll be looking for you if you don't come back.

 

He smiled and headed for the door, "I'll come back, if not only for you; to save my skin from your wrath." Ducking out the door, he headed toward the bar with a light mood. He knew Zee always hung out at the bar at this time of day. It wasn't in him to change his habits.

 

Mya smirked and watched him leave. She jumped off the bed and looked around, wondering what to do.

 

As usual Zane found Zee sitting at the bar, half a drink in front of him. He sat beside him and smacked his back, "Hey, Zee." Zee sat upright, "Reaper? What do you want?" Zane frowned, "Now, don't be like that. I just wanted to talk to you about something." Zee shrugged, "Then talk. It's not like last night was...unusually cruel of you." Zane rolled his eyes, "Unusually cruel? Hey, now that can be explained if you'd just let me." Zee looked at him, "Then explain." Zane swallowed, "Well, okay, here goes."
Half and Hour Later~
"WHAT?! Y-you're Annabelle's brother?! And you're sleeping with M---" Zane covered his mouth, "Hey, not everyone has to know, y'know." Zee settled down, "B-but, she's like...three years younger than you!" Zane frowned, "And that's a problem how?" Zee blinked rapidly, "Reaper--" Zane glared at him, "You don't have to call me that. You can call me Zane if you choose." Zee shook his head, "I think I'll stick to Reaper. That way I don't feel so close to you. Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Zane shrugged, "Didn't feel like it." Zee grumbled for a while before Zane realized how long he'd spent talking to him, "Hey it was good telling you the truth, even if you did nearly blow my ear drums." He laughed and tossed a few silver bits on the table to pay for their drinks.

 

Mya couldn't find anything to do and went back to sleep a half hour earlier.

Zane walked back up to their room and found Mya sleeping again. He rolled his eyes and cuddled next to her, kissing the back of her neck.

 

Mya smiled and purred. She hugged her pillow tighter.

 

Zane untangled her from her pillow and wrapped her arms around him, "Much better." he smiled and kissed her nose.

 

Mya opened one eye and saw Zane. Oh hi there. You explained everything to him?

 

He smiled at her, "Yeah, surprisingly, he took it quite well. I didn't have to beat him up this time." He laughed gently, "He'll keep our secret, but he still wants to call me Reaper. It's starting to sound disturbing of a name, but I chose it." He pressed against her, "What should we do with the rest of our day?"

 

Mya smiled and nuzzled his neck. I dot know. Maybe for once, I'll letyou decide what you want to do.

 

Zane growled and tugged on her ear with his teeth, "That's not such a good idea, Mya. You already know what I want to do."

 

Mya gave him an innocent look. Oh? Let's say I don't know. She giggled at her words.

 

He grinned devilishly and kissed down her neck to her chest, pulling her clothes away, "Get where I'm going with this yet?"

 

Mya smiled. Alright I get the hint. She grabbed onto Zane.
