Reaper's falcon gave a shrill cry as it spotted Reaper.

Reaper directed his horse toward the bird. he came up on Mya barely standing, "I see you haven't had much luck. C-climb on, Mya."

Garth stood, "And you believe the assassin's know the answers to these clues?"

 

Mya nodded and climbed up with difficulty and pain. She clutched her side and held onto Reaper.

Havoc shrugged. I honestly don't know. They're probably just as clueless as us. All we know is that they don't want us getting the pieces.

 

Reaper sent his falcon ahead and grimanced, "Ah, easy Mya. As you can see, I'm bleeding my guts out. He gave a kick to his horse and sent them on a painful course to the villa.


Garth shook his head, "Someone has to know something. We just need to find that person." His thoughts turned back to Reaper. "You are dismissed Havoc, let me know when it's finally understood. I need those pieces."

 

Mya nodded and sighed. She hated the ride to the villa as every step the horse took, it hurt her side and leg, but it was faster than walking.

Havoc bowed and left the room. The pieces must be found. There has to be someone out there smart enough to know.

 

Reaper's blood loss made his sight fuzzy, "Mya...we're here." His horse slowly came to a stop outside the villa. "C-come on." He half fell half slid off his horse.

Garth couldn't think more about the pieces or he'd end up with a headache. The one thing he needed to was to finally kill Reaper so he could find the pieces himself.

 

Mya practically fell of the horse and got back up, limping towards the villa. Think we made a mess all the way here.

 

Reaper laughed weakly, "You think? I think...I need a doctor." He blinked away the fuzz. He stumbled through the door after Mya.

 

Mya went to her room and fell onto the bed. Ugh I feel like crap. She threw off her clothes and examined her wounds, which weren't that serious, but it hurt a lot.

 

Reaper got his stitches, while trying to flirt with the nurse. She seared the wound with a fire brand and he sucked in his breath, "Easy, ma'am." She smiled and patted his shoulder, "You'll get over it. Now off to your rooms. You'll be right as rain with a bit of rest." Reaper shook his head and pulled back on his clothes, "Women..."


Sitting in his room, Reaper closed his eyes and unsurprisingly replayed his fight with Garth in his head.

 

After an hour or so, Mya was fixed up. The blood was stopped but the pain was still there. Mya moved around with a bit difficulty, but managed. I'll see how Reaper is doing. She put back on her clothes and headed towards Reaper's room.

 

Despite his wound, though it was better, he paced his room, "How could he have beaten me? I had him." he pulled off his armor and folded it up, examining the wound again, "Crap...could he have cut me deeper?"

 

Mya walked to Reaper's room and knocked on the door. It's me. Can I come in?

 

Reaper jerked and pulled on a shirt, "Yeah, sure, it's open." he called out to her.

 

Mya opened the door and went inside of his room. So how are you? Not hurt too much?

 

Reaper gave her a smile and a wink, "Not enough to keep me down. I'll never be down long. So, anything new, or did you just come to see how I was holding up?" He immediately regretted his words after they left his mouth.

 

Mya shrugged and sat on the bed. Well I think you took more serious hits than me. She heaved a sigh.

 

Reaper shuffled his feet and winced, "Yeah, well that's what I get for trying to fight a Templar Conspirator." He shook his head, "How can I not be ready!" Reaper's temper flared and he slammed his fist into the wall. Spider cracks spread from where he'd struck it.

 

Mya stood up and grabbed his arm. Calm down! You're in no condition to get angry and lose control! She let go of his arm. Neither am I.

 

Reaper huffed and paced again, "Then when am I supposed to loose control? When I'm in the middle of a fight?! I don't think so." He sat down on his floor, cross-legged, "I need a target. Something to get my mind off this...situation."

 

Mya sighed and stayed silent, not knowing what to say. You got me there. She examined her blade.
