After a few hours of riding, they arrived at Tuscany. Mya jumped off he horse and saddled it to the post.

 

Zane jumped off and rolled his shoulders. He looked around for Zee, "I suppose Zee's already there."

 

Mya walked into the city. It's held at the castle. Let's hurry and meet Zee.

 

"Right." He wasn't looking forward to seeing how Zee had altered his personality this time. He walked close beside Mya, glaring at the young men who stopped briefly to look at her.

 

Mya smirked. Well at least I do attract some people. No offence Zane.

 

Zane finished his glaring at another young man and smiled down at her, "None taken. But if they keep staring at you, I'm gonna break some skulls." Since he didn't move from her side and glared at another boy far too young to know what to do with a girl, his words meant nothing.

 

Mya smiled. I can tell, but don't already cause violence when the party didn't even start.

 

He laughed, "Alright, I'll break some younguns later." He sighed, "Parties...y'know, my mum used to hold parties when I was still small for my sister's birthdays. They were really fancy."

 

Mya smiled and continued walking until they reached the castle. Well here we are.

 

Zane looked up at it and scowled, "Yup..." He leaned down and kissed her quickly before smiling, "Kay, I'm ready."

 

Mya smiled at the kiss and stepped up to the entrence. Two guards came up and held their hand out. Mya gave them the 2 letters and they let Mya and Zane go through.

 

Zane grinned at them as they passed, "Hey, Mya, where did you get those invitations anyway?"

 

Mya made a little smile. I have some...contacts.

BIC: Zane raised one eyebrow, "Contacts to get you invitations to a ball? Mya, you never cease to amaze me."

 

Mya smiled. Well once you do them a favor, they have to repay you don't they?

 

He ruffled her hair and let it drop. Surveying the party he grinned, "Nice turnout for them." He frowned, "Though I don't see Zee."

 

A man walked up to Zane and Mya. Welcome to Fanchesco's Ball! He leaned in close so only Zane and Mya heard them. He'll make an announcement shortly. Be patient and get him alone. He turned and walked away.

Mya nodded. You heard him Zane.

 

He smiled, "Well, it seems the fun begins early." He still couldn't see Zee.

 

Mya looked at Zane and grabbed his hand. So, would you like to have a dance with me?

 

He spread her fingers with his, "Heh, why not. Might as well enjoy ourselves while it lasts." He sweeped her into a waltz with the groups of other dancing people.
