Reaper shook his head, "I shouldn't be getting sentimental. There's no use dwelling in the past, right?" He gave her a half-hearted smile, "A smart man once told me, to let go of the past, you first have to come to terms with what happened in that past and then, simply move foreward and never stop walking." He put his hand agains the wall, next to Mya's head, "So tell me, why is it I never hear about your family?"

 

Mya nervously looked away from Reaper. Well...it's a touchy subject for me. I...uh...don't like talking about them since they're dead. That's all I can say. She poorly tried to hide her nervousness from Reaper. She blushed and looked at the ground.

 

He noted her blush and leaned closer, "What?" His blue eyes reflected the moonlight as he looked at her, "You're acting like...a girl. All nervous and even...a blush? Alright, I'll let it go, I get it. I don't like talking about my parents."

 

She looked at him in the eyes and slightly smiled. So what were you expecting? Me acting like a guy? I've been at this for only 7 years. Give me a break. She blinked and looked away from him.

 

Reaper shrugged off her words, "I guess I just don't like when you act all nervous. I'm not here to make you nervous. Heh, I'm not even here to make you like me." He leaned back and took a few steps away from her, "It's a nice night. Just thought I'd go for a moonlit walk."

 

Mya smiled and looked at the sky. Well the night is beautiful. I don't see why one shouldn't walk at this time. She pulled off her hair tie and let her hair fall loose around her.

 

Reaper had to remind himself that even though she was only three years older than he was, he couldn't have her if he wanted. "For someone who wounded when I found her, you sure are relaxed." Forcing his eyes from her he looked to the open road, I,uh, wasn't going to go far. Maybe into town, get something to drink."

 

She shrugged. Well you look kinda lonely tonight anyways. Do you mind if I join you?

 

Reaper sighed deeply, "Sure. Good fortune comes in pairs." he needed to stop talking. Reaper shut his mouth and walked down the road.

 

Mya smiled and followed him down the path, not sure what to do once they hit town.

 

Reaper enjoyed the silence in town but the footfalls of his own boots reminded him too much of his father's death. He was relieved when they found a bar still open. "Whatever happens in there, don't reaveal that you're an assassin. Most Templars drink late at night too." he stopped to adjust his hood, "Oh, and if I fall over, unconscious, well I assume you know what to do."

 

Mya nodded and followed him into the bar, but leaving her hood off. It's gonna be long ride home if you fall. She gave him a small playful smile.

Reaper laughed. His spirit high as he entered the bar, "It sure will, for you."

OOC: Night. I gotta get some sleepz too.

 

Mya sat down on a seat and tapped on the table. 2 drinks please.

 

The bartender sat two mugs down on the bar and Reaper gruffly handed a handful of silver coins to him, "For your patronage." Reaper drank and felt the liquor warm his cold body.

 

Mya sipped at her drink, not really caring about the taste.

 

Reaper sat in silence and pondered over his mug. He went to take a drink and found it empty. Sliding his mug over to the bartender, "Keep it coming. I didn't pay you that much silver just for two."

 

Mya continued to drink until it was empty. I'll want another cup. She sighed and scratched her arm.

 

The night continued with Reaper empting mug after mug of alcohol until he started to feel it. "Y'know, I used to be a normal guy...pfft, that's a lie. I can't pull that one off." He laughed, "I was training for this my entire life."

 

Mya put down her half empty mug. Normal huh? I've been doing this so long, I don't even know what 'normal' is anymore.
