Sasha looked down. But still...it won't be fair. Won't it be better if we both shared the bed?

 

Zee swore his heart stopped for a minute. His imagination filled in some things he didn't want to think about. Mentally cursing his inappropriate mind he gave her a nervous smile, "Uh, w-well okay. I-If that's w-what you think is b-best." He shook his head, "I'm probably the most shy guy here so you don't have to worry about me doing anything perverted. I know where I belong."

 

Sasha laughed. Don't worry. I trust you. You seem like a nice guy. Would you mind to look away while I'm changing?

 

Zee spun around and ran a hand down his face, "Sorry. Heh, you trust me? That's something I haven't heard in forever." his mind told him to shut up but his mouth kept going, "A nice guy, huh? Not a lot of people would agree with you. Just because I'm friends with Zane the Reaper, I'm suddenly a Rebel without a cause."

 

Sasha smiled. I don't believe that. She tossed off her clothing on a chair and slipped on her nightgown. Assumptions are never good. That's why I say what is true.

 

Zee's shoulders fell, "I'm sorry Sasha. I'm such a burden upon people that I'm not sure what to say anymore to compliments, if that's what it is."

 

Sasha walked up to Zee and hugged him. Don't think like that. Think positive. Live every day to the fullest.

 

Zee stiffened and turned slowly. He hugged her back and reveled in her warmth and softness. His heart beat wildly in his chest. "Live everyday to the fullest..." he repeated her and let her go. "That's a little hard for a guy like me when the fullest of my day is simply following Zane on missions."

 

Sasha smiled and sat on the bed. Be different. No one can tell you want to do. They can be guides, but you choose if you want it or not.

 

Zee pulled off his shirt and buried himself on his side of the bed, "Sometimes being different could get you killed." he remembered Zane saying that once when they were children and Zee wanted to be different. "Ah, what's the point? Assassin's live to kill and they die killing. Being different is...probably the dumbest thing I could do right now. I'm on thin ice with Zane and Mya, though he says he forgives me, I can see he doesn't." He rested his head on his arms and buried his face in his pillow.

 

Sasha stared at Zee before laying down next to him. You worry too much. Just relax for once. She shuffled closer to him, shivering slightly from the cold.

 

Zee mumbled some things into his pillow and rolled onto his side. "Are you cold?" he pulled her into the circle of his arms and held her there, "I'll keep ya warm. It'll be my job."

 

Sasha smiled and closed her eyes. Thanks Zee. She cuddled close to Zee.

 

Zee's heart beat frantically in his chest as he closed his eyes and tried to get some sleep. He realized he probably liked Sasha more than he liked Zane. She was nice to him, she....it hit him that he liked her in a completely different way than he liked Zane and he suddenly felt really warm.

 

Sasha opened her eyes and her face was inches from Zee's. I-Uhh- She blushed furiously.

 

Zee opened his eyes and smiled, "You keep speaking nonsense and I'm kicking you out of my bed." He thought for a while and laughed, "There's a line I thought I'd never get to say." Almost in a daze of happiness he kissed Sasha's forehead.

 

Sasha is blushing so much, she looked like a cooked lobster. I'll cut the chat then. She hesitates, then kisses Zee on the lips.

 

Zee felt every muscle in his body relax and kissed her back, harder.

 

Sasha continued kissing him until she realizes what she's doing and backs off a bit. I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that and...she trailed off and buried her head in her hands.

 

Zee caught his breath and pulled her hands away from her face, "Hey now, you don't have to be sorry. I should be the one apologizing. I..." he let her go and rolled onto his back, looking at the ceiling, "I shouldn't have...Mya's gonna kill me." he sighed finally and accepted his defeat. Mya or Zane would kill him for this and he knew it. But for a few seconds of pure bliss with Sasha, he'd face Hell itself.
