He didn't move, "Always am." Suddenly he flung it into the air and caught it by the handle, swinging it in a wide arc. Turning to see her, "I should get going. Though, my target remains the same." he sighed and sheathed the blade, "Not much to do around here lately. Alaric's been...busy I guess."

 

She shifted from foot to foot. Do you want to stick with me for a bit? I want to head over to Florence and then hit Tuscany later on. Sounds good?

BIC: Reaper shrugged, "Can't hurt. Garth isn't going anywhere soon." He happily tagged along.

 

After a few hours of traveling, they arrived at Florence. Mya headed towards the center of town.

 

Reaper ignored people and followed behind Mya. A young woman stopped him, "You, what's your name?" He looked at her, "Nothing you'd want to know. Ma'am, if you don't mind..." She held onto his sleeve, "I know you. I'm sure of it!" Reaper's fingers twitched, "You don't want to know me. Trust me."

 

Mya turned around and sighed. Ma'am, please leave us alone. We are very bust today and would not want to be disturbed.

 

She let go of him and he followed Mya with a wide smile, "Someone sounded jealous. Eager to get going much?"

 

Mya gave him a smirk. You wish. She walked up to a house and knocked on the door a couple of times.

 

He didn't voice his dark thoughts and waited while she knocked. He hummed a random tune and glanced back toward the girl who'd singled him out. she was talking to a guard and pointing to him. Uh oh. This can't be good. he thought. Looking at Mya, he tried to act non-chalant.

 

The door opened. Mya smiled at the man. Hello Leonardo. May we come in?

He smiled at her. Of course. Come in. He went inside and Mya dragged Reaper with her inside.

 

Reaper gave a friendly smile to Leonardo and waved at the guard as he started to walk toward them. Reaper's smile fell away as he looked at Leonardo. He didn't speak. This was Mya's buisness, not his. The best he was here was for protection. Though from what he didn't know. Whatever Mya couldn't handle he was bound to have difficulty. Garth was still an option of making an appearance anywhere.

 

Mya frowned when Reaper left, but went inside anyways. Leonardo folded his hands. So how may I help you today? Mya pulled out a scroll. I found this today. Can you tell me what it is? It's a codex page. I'll decipher it in a moment. As he walked away, Mya went outside to check on Reaper.

 

Reaper met the girl and the guard in the center of the crowd. "Can I help you?" The guard rested his hand on his sword, "This girl says she's seen you seducing a few under age women about town. Is this true?" She stood with her hands on her hips and Reaper shook his head, "What you get left out?" Her mouth fell open, "You see? I told you!" Reaper stopped the guard from drawing his sword, "Now, now, I never said i did it. I'm only saying you sound jealous. Sir, I assure you I haven't seduced any young ladies last night or whenever she has told you I did." The guard didn't look sure and suddenly a dawning look came into his eyes. Reaper took a step back in reflex. "You're that assassin!" Reaper turned on his heel, gave Mya a laughing smile and dashed off in the opposite direction of Leonardo's house.

 

Mya gave him an annoyed sigh and looked back, not wanting to get involved in the situation.

 

Reaper ran until he found a good ledge to boost himself up onto the roofs. The guard persistently followed. The girl remained in the town center. Jumping, he caught another, higher, rooftop and was pulling himself up when the guard caught his boot, "Hey, you hold onto me like that and you'll fall!" he shouted down to him. "You're that assassin that keeps threatening Lord McHugh! Aren't you! Why else would you have fled. If I kill you, he'll reward me big time!" Reaper frowned at the guard, "Really? Don't you think he'd much rather chop off your head for killing me? He does want to kill me himself, sooo." The guard paused to think and Reaper kicked him in the face. He climbed up and made a full circle before returning to Leonardo's house and Mya. He panted and let himself in through an open window.

 

Mya looked at Reaper and gave him a small smile. Back so soon? That didn't seem much of a chase. Anyways, can I see your bracer and blade for a second?

 

Reaper caught his breath, "Obviously, you don't know effective ways to get rid of your chasers." He unlaced his bracer and blade and held it out to her, "What do you need it for?"

 

Mya pulled out a strange metal object and connected it. Just a little present from Leonardo. She handed it back to Reaper.

 

He examined it, "What is it?"

 

Mya smiled. Watch this. She clicked a switch on her bracer and aimed at a flower plant. After a loud bang, the put shattered into pieces. She turned back to Reaper. Cool isn't it?
