Zee fell silent as he sat beside Sasha, "It's nothing." he mumbled.

Zane smirked and gave Sasha a sympathetic smile. He mouthed, 'Give him time.' Deciding to distract Zee, he brought up his new training.

 

Mya yawned. I'm tired. I'll see you later Zane. She stood up and left.

Sasha nodded at Zane and munched on a piece of bread.

 

Zee and Zane's eyes followed Mya as she left. Zee gave Zane a pointed look, "Ya see? It could be happening right in front of you." Zane growled, "You don't know that's why she's tired. People get tired from just looking at you!"

 

Mya flopped on her bed and sighed.

Sasha frowned. Hey cut it put you two. The last thing I want to end my day is an arguement.

 

Zee clammed up and gave an apologetic smile to Sasha.

Zane growled and stood, "Don't believe me? Ask her yourself if you're so damn concerned. For your information, I wouldn't mind a kid, as long as they didn't turn out like me or you, Zee." His glare wavered in severity and he followed after Mya.

 

Sasha stared at her food and sighed. I wonder what's wrong with him? He seems a bit touchy today... She sipped on some water.

 

Zee sighed and dropped his head onto the table, "That would probably be my fault. I suppose I brought up having kids with Mya and he got all defensive. He just doesn't want to end up like his father toward his kids."

Zane paced in front of Mya's door. He hadn't been to his own room since they left. Zee's words still hung in his head. He touched his head to the wall and closed his eyes, drifting off in that position.

 

Mya opened the door and saw Zane. Hey. Is there something on your mind?

Sasha held Zee's hand. It's not your fault. You never wouldve known what he was thinking about.

 

Zane jerked and stared at her before rubbing his eyes, "Nah, something on yours?" He flinched, realizing that was how his father would've answered her. "You seem...tired lately. Are you sick or something?"

Zee turned his head on the table to look at her, "Thanks Sasha, but I really should've left it alone. Zane's not terrible with kids but until he gains a more fatherly instict, I'd keep any of my children away from him." Running his hand through his hair, Zee shut his eyes and tried to imagine what Zane's father would've been like.

 

Mya frowned and pulled Zane into her room. I think something is bothering you. Cmon tell me. I thought we agreed not to keep secrets from each other.

Sasha sighed and stood up. I'm tired. Think I'll call it a day.

 

Zane pulled her to him and nuzzled the side of her head, "Zee brought up having children during practice and I...I don't know, I can't imagine having any of my own. I'd hate to turn into my father, always so cruel and cold towards them just because of my being an assassin. It'd be like repeating the pattern of my life all over again."

Zee opened his eyes and stood up after her, "Okay, you...want me to tag along?" He smiled and winked at her.

 

Mya closed her eyes and stroked his face. We don't need to have children if that's better for the both of us.

Sasha smiled. I always enjoy your company. She led him to her room.

 

Zane leaned down to her and kissed her softly, "Would you hate me if I treated our children like that?"

Zee grinned and picked her up, "Ah, you know, what they said back there. Y'know, about being in love with you...I,uh..." he didn't know how to finish his sentence.

 

Mya smiled and kissed him back. No more talking about kids. It's just us now.

Sasha kissed him to shut him up. Love me or not, I don't care. Just remember that Ill always be with you.

 

Zane took her avoidance of the question as probably. She'd be their mother, a mother's role was to be kind and warm to her children. He'd give her whatever she wanted, a family, just the two of them, or even someone else along the way. He pulled her against his chest and kissed the top of her head. "You're like a little kid, absolutely no worries."

Sasha's kiss took him by surprise and her words turned his face red. "Ah, y-you don't mean that. I know you'll want me to love you eventually. By then...m-maybe I will."

 

Mya smiled and nuzzled his chest. But that's what you love about me right?

Sasha giggled. Sorry for jumping the gun so fast. Let's just keep it as "good friends"

 

Zane touched his forehead to hers and pulled her top off, "I love everything about you." Trailing his fingers along her stomach, he kissed her hard and pulled her against him.

Zee grinned and carried her up to his room, "Friends with benifits, right? I still get to share your bed don't I?" He set her down before the door and braced his arms on either side of her.

 

Mya let out a moan as he took her by surprise and kissed him back.

Sasha smiled. Yep. Your bed is mine and vice versa. She leaned in and kissed him passionatly.

 

Zane pulled away from her, breathing hard and backed toward the door, "I'm sure you're tired. I'll let you sleep."

He kissed her back and was about to reach around her to open the door when he heard that familiar chuckle.

Haru chuckled at Zee and Sasha. "This is quite interesting, indeed. My, Zee, you seem to be growing up. More so since you left my guidance. Perhaps it has been Reaper that's taught you how to be a man?" Zee jerked from Sasha and stared at Haru like a deer caught in headlights.

 

Mya smiled and grabbed his arms. It's alright. I'm not tired. We can continue if you want.

Sasha backed up. Wh-who the hell are you?!
