Utada's alright. She's not the best singer though and whether you like it or not, there will always be people who don't share the same interest as you. So if you don't like it, tough.

 

Surprisingly, this isn't that surprising.

Utada Hikaru has great vocals and can hit some notes that make chills crawl up my spine. She has beautiful songs too. Take "Final Distance", for example. That song is so pretty. And so what if it's in a different language? I don't understand a word she's saying and yet I still love it. The same thing goes for "Sakura Drops." One of the few words I can understand is "heartbreak." *shrug* With just that word you can kind of tell what the song's about, and yet it's so good and beautiful. Plus, in that song, I hear "Sora." :luv:

It's a matter of opinion?..people can hate what they want,and you shouldnt try and convince them otherwise on a matter like this.

 

I say us fans should ban together to find this person, while singing Utada's most popular songs...then we should tie them to a lamp-post and beat them with a computer mouse until they like her.

Well, I know that people have there own opinions but-
My opinion is, she is fantastic. And those people are tone deaf...

But whatever....I just think 'I think she should jump off a cliff' is going past way to far.
Her voice, if I didnt like it, wouldnt sound that bad

I think Utada sings fantasticly!!(is the word 'fantasticly' exist???^^;)
She's the only one Japanese singer I've ever know who sings both English and Japanese fluently!!!

I kind of like Hilary Duff. 0.o. I mean, I like some of her older stuff like "Someone's watching over me". That song's sweet. And I like her movie "Raise your Voice". That's about it, I don't like her too much now.

I just discovered a new song by Utada that I love. It's called "Final Destination". It's so sad...but I love it =)
