Chain of Memories Ok! I suck at this game! help!

I'm not afraid to admit it. I'm playing in beginner mode and just can't win. I defeated the first vexen out of luck and just can't beat the second one. I'm at level 38, but I think my problem is my card deck. Could you please suggest a good card deck to me? And like, where I can find the cards your telling me about.

Ugh, the thing thats so sad about it is that I was so good at the other two games. Please help

 

Hey, I suck at it too ><
Second Vexen is annoying. Use 0 Cards to break every sleight.
Stick with your high level cards but have enough room for alot.
Add some potions too.
When you start losing alot of health use a Cure card or Oogie Boogie.

Fire raid is your friend if you have that ability, get him to the wall and chuck your blade so it hits him 3-5 times with a fire element, good damage.

 

The Freeze sleigh is hard to dodge. I just keep my eye on him and when he throws out his arm, use Dodge Roll. Dodge Roll in circles when he uses Ice Needles, also, use Firaga, then when you reload, use Fira, then when you reload again, use Fire Raid if you have it.

 

Really? I thought Freeze was fairly easy to dodge once you get the hang of it. Dodge Roll Right as he's raising his shield. I think that's the right timing. It's easier than breaking his sleight. In Riku's game, he gains an annoying ass sleight though which you have to break. =/

lol i killed Vexen by using Strike raid....

its really hard...so what is best....you should level up ( use those x2 keyblade room cards) if u strike frist there damage goes down alot! its a faster way to lvl up

 

here's what i did....i have a melee deck and a magic deck. i took out ALL the blizzards from my magic deck, added mushu, and a couple other summons put as many fires as i had in it, put a mega ether in there,and used firaga a few times. tried summmons, mostly got counter'd so i stuck with firaga, the ether recovered ALL my fire cards so i had another round with firaga, reload, firaga, untill you run out of fire for the most poart. he'll be dead by then. oh and, dont use graviga or genie....useless....or stop, for that matter.

 

I took him on Proud and it was quite difficult. What I did was I made a pure sleight deck. It was all Lethal Flame and Fire/Thunder Raid. Thunder Raid works ESPECIALLY well against him. If you have Lethal Flame, let him have it as a counter to his cards. Just play a sleight deck properly and you'll pwn him. For Ice Needles, just keep running, don't dodge roll. For Freeze, right as he starts to swing his arms down, dodge roll. And for the Ice Sword, you have to time the dodges just right and jump after he charges you the third time. Hope it helps!

 

While fighting Vexen I would stick to a defensive magic based deck. I used a lot of FIRE cards and a lot of 0/Zeros. It made the battle very tolerable. Having Elixirs, Mega-Ethers, and Hi/Mega-Potions helps a lot too. If you have the cards available for this try AERO+AERO+FIRE. It's called Fiery Twister or something. It's very effective and I killed Vexen pretty easily with that.

 

I havent killed vexen but remove ice and fire cards put thunder and cloud cards put stop cards thunder raid omnislash and lethal flame put 2 mega ethers to and you shoud kill him

 

i use all 0s or all 9s and use zantetsuken... look at the vid in my signature, and ull see what i mean
