ok so i have been using this nose spray that helps open up my nostrils cuz my allergies were really bad this fall that my nostrils were closing. so i guess because of the nose spray im using gave me a nose bleed. my nose bleed was not one of those average ones that it bleeds just a bit and stops. no mine was one were it kept bleeding, i had no tissues by me so i ran to get toilet paper in my bathroom while screaming to my mom to grab the tissues. while i was in the bathroom i found out that we had no toilet paper so to try to stop the nose bleed i used my hand and ran to the sink. while my mom was running up the stairs to give me tissues my hand was filled with blood. and i mean filled. so my mom got to the bathroom screaming "whats wrong!" untill she looked at my nose and my hand. so to make the story short my mom brought about 100 tissues up to the bathroom that she ripped out of the tissue box and by about a min. they were all soak with blood. so we used a mini towel which also got soaked so we grabbed another mini towel and by then my nose bleed was over. so now im feel so dizzy. i think i should take a nap and hope that my dizzyness stops.

    1) Everytime you post, I hear it as though Renge is talking....

    2) That sounds really serious. I may sound like a hypocondrac, but I think you should go to the ER or something. Massive blood loss isn't really something that should be taken likely. I think if you didn't freak out as much, it would've gone a lot quicker and smoother.

im not going to the ER cuz my mom called the doctor who put me on the nose spray and he said to stop using it and to just let my nose drown out the blood untill it stops.

Oh, okay. Well, at least you got some kind of imput from a doctor. It is good just to take it easy for a while and just relax. Drink plenty of water and all that stuff.

Yeah, that happened to me too when I still was using nasal spray. Now I'm just sticking to >insert local Benadryl substitute<, thank you very much.

If it happens again, don't panic, usually the blood loss is about the same as when you get a blood test, and certainly less than when you donate blood.
