One Piece

So I never really made it far into the manga, maybe to volume 12, but I was re-reading the Arlong Park arc, and oh god...

I cried so, so much. :v

 

Favourite arc. Easily. ;_;

Just looked at the Bellemère action figures... $800. ;____;

 

Those damned bells.

The only worse moment was the death of the Going Merry. I never thought I'd be crying at the burning of a boat. ;__;

 

The Arlong Park Arc? Seriously? I hated that arc. So glad it was over.

 

Ah One Piece, the only anime/manga I know of that can make someone cry over a boat...
...and I admit it, I got teary eyed after I first watched that episode. X_X

Oh, there's a new episode today coming out. Seeing old-Whitebeard fighting is terrific.

Agreed. Whitebeard fighting is amazing.

I didn't find the recent few episodes to be sad though. Possibly because it was spoiled to me, possibly because of the lack of Mother Ocean, possibly because the characters acted idiotically.

 

The Arlong Park arc is the only bit I ever payed attention to.
It made me cry, yeah. ;_;

One Piece never ceases to amaze me, the newest ep was really good.
Can't wait to see the next couple of episodes though, things are about to get even crazier if you haven't read the manga. ;D

 

I'd really like to catch up on the manga but I'm pretty sure that I'm like 40 volumes behind. :c

 

Yeah...that would take you a while to catch up. XD
Especially when One Piece pulled a Shippuden on everyone. X_X

I kind of liked it. They all had to get stronger than they were since there are tougher enemies further in the Grand Line.

 

I never said I hated it, I freakin love One Piece.
I just want to see more of what they can do, the little bits that they have showed off has me wanting to see more. XD

 

I thought people hated this series. I never watched it. Do you people recommend watching it?

 

I would recommend One Piece. It has a nice mix of action, adventure, comedy, drama, and other qualities I can't think of at the momment. XD
It's a long running series though...
If you begin to watch and still don't like it after the first 40 eps, then I don't think this would be a series for you. =/

 

It' s not like it was 40 volumes of boring stuff ! ^^
Anyway, the author wrote in volume 50 something that the series was right in the middle of the story, so we can expect 10 more years of adventures.
