Organization 13 and guests go on a ... WTF ? A Disney Cruise ?! O.O Who wrote this ?

OOC: I wish I can accompany you Destiny but I only have five minutes left before I'm kicked off. :( So I'll see you tomorrow.

 

Axel sighed as she couldn't hold the tears, but she wouldn't judge her any less for it, she was just a kid, really, six years old, and her parents are missing or in trouble, and it was hard to take in. Smoothing out her hair gently with his hand as she cried, feeling a bit jaded himself, he made the hug tighter as for her to know it was fine, it will be fine. Breathing deeply, his chest rising in syndication, he spoke, quietly, almost like telling a bed time story, "Shigiku...think positive on this, we might actually find your parents, and you will get back home. Nothing has been normal for you, but there's a chance that it can still be...we have to fight the opposition, free your parents, and you'll get your happy ending. Not only that, the worst of reliving what happened to your mom and dad is over, and I think, when we continue, there'll be happy images instead of sad ones. You'lll get your full memory back too, with no more memory problems, and....well, everything will get back to normal...as normal as it is when you got magic, anyway."

He attempted to sound funny at the end, though he thought he failed miserably, yet he dragged his eyes down, now looking at her seriosuly and intensely, making sure her orbs were on his as well, wanting her to listen, "That's why being strong doesn't mean not crying, it doesn't mean you have to become a brick wall, hiding your feelings...being strong is to get through the pain and hurt, and know it will be alright. You're working for a cause....and that cause is for your family. You're strong because you decided to go through with the process of recovering that memory, when you knew what it will bring, and you'll be stronger if you're willing to continue...and yes, I know you will. Weakness isn't about letting show your emotions, like you think it is...weakness is to let the sadness consume you and take you over, make you give up. Shi, you took that one step...to find the ones precious to you, and that shows alot about who you are, no matter how young. Look back at how much you went through, and you're still happy, you're still sweet, and you're still the same girl I met on the deck back then."

At this, his tone got harder and more stern, making sure it inscribed in her head for years to come. "Strong...is being able to overtake and control that said sadness, and come out nice and clean, and more wise. Life isn't easy, but if you make it, you're a winner. What you did by letting us see your memory was bravery, as well.That's what strength is, you hear me? Never, ever forget that." He placed his index finger to her forehead. "Got it memorized?"

Namine smiled as she watched him say all that. Funny... she thought. Even though he said he has no feelings... he understands them perfectly... she smiled. This only proved her point more... maybe nobodys really DO have feelings... because maybe feelings aren't all in the heart... maybe part of it is in the soul...

Shigiku looked up at him, the warm ears running down her cheeks as she did so. He was right... crying isn't a sign of weakness... but giving up is. She had felt like quitting... like giving up and dealing with the fact that she may never see her parents again... but instead she toughened up and got through it.. no matter what happened...

and Axel was partially right about another thing... everything would go back to normal. She'd go on living a normal life with her parents and such... but it wouldn't be back to the way it was. She had used to have memory loss... and she knows magic... so you can't say it was the way it had used to be... and Shigiku still wasn't happy about having to part from Axel. It made her stomach churn at the thought of it... She'd probably never see him again... because he'd go back to his organization of nobodies...

But then again who knows... her parents might not be alive... that thought didn't make her too happy either... but she'd have a chance at staying with Axel. Even so, she didn't want her parents to be dead. They were the ones closest to her... the ones who had raised her and made her who she is. She didn't want them to be gone... but she knew she couldn't have both...

Everything Axel said was true. Crying didn't show weakness... quitting did... the saying "When the going gets tough, the tough get going" would fit this perfectly... Shigiku had heard her parents talking about it once before... and she wasn't sure what it had meant...

~Flashback~

Shigiku's mom: You just need to remember that when the going get's tough then the tough get going... *smiles*
Shigiku: Huh? What does that mean...?
Shigiku's mom: *laughs* It means that If something goes wrong... then you shouldn't quit if your tough... you should keep going... like a game. If you're about to lose... you don't quit... do you?
Shigiku: No...
Shigiku's mom: You see? Then you're strong... *ruffles hair*
Shigiku: *laughs*

End Flashback~

Shigiku smiled at the thought of that... but it didn't matter at the moment. What mattered was that she needed to keep going on... no matter how bad it got. She smiled up at Axel and nodded, wiping away her tears. "Yeah..." she said.

OOC- I threw in a flashback just for the heck of it XP

 

OOC: Lol xP, the flashback...aww, she's growing up so fast *sniffs*.

Axel smiled back, glad to see a bit of happiness on her for once after the experience, and he then tickled her a little, wanting to hear her cute giggles. Hopefully, she took what he had said to heart, as he meant them, and as much as he wasn't her real father, he felt Shigiku needed to learn from him as well. His voice was much more clearer, and less depressed, now that the atmosphere was lighting up, and he stuck out his tongue at her as he finished his tickling attack. Thankfully, he managed to cheer her up again, for the while, anyway. "Good, then. Because you need to remember that, is important, cry all you want if you need to, Pumpkin." Looking around at Naminé for a moment, and the room, he ended up eyeing Shigiku, stealing glances at the blonde now and then. "You can rest if you want, Shi, unless you want to do something else, of course, depending on when Naminé wants to keep going..."

 

Namine smiled. "I'm ready to start again any time you want to..." Namine said, standing up from where she was sitting and walking over to the bed. "Do you want to keep going...?" she asked.

Shigiku thought for a moment and then nodded. "Yeah..." she said. She wanted to get it all over with so that it could just be done and she wouldn't have to suffer anymore... what was painful enough was the memories... but waiting was even more painful.

Axel gave a nod as well, feeling it safer for her to still rest on his lap, as he was comfortable enough just leaning his back against the headboard, and he was positive Naminé could work that way. After his little speech, even he felt stronger, and in a way, those words went to him too, despite him saying them. Axel was coming into terms that he might not see Shigiku again, he didn't feel any less merrier, but he was willing to accept it for now. He didn't want her to go, he somehow wished that her parents couldn't be found, he didn't care if it was selfish of him, Shigiku meant something to him. But in the end, Shigiku was the one that mattered most, and as sad as he'll be....it was her happiness that had to be taken into account.

Embracing her close to him, treasuring every moment he had with her now, he laid a hand to her forehead, already settling himself into his job, his palms tingling as the energy was moved to one specific place. Axel didn't close his eyes yet, though, waiting for Naminé to begin first. He wanted to make this fast, and that way, nothing to worry over later, and they could all truly rest.

 

Namine once again placed her hand over Axel's and closed her eyes, searching for memories once more. It's not like this wasn't bothering her or anything... because it was... but she just wasn't showing it as much as them. She hated to see that Shigiku would have to go... but she hadn't formerd as strong of a bond with her as Axel had... so Shigiku wasn't something special to her... yet she still felt it was up to her to help protect and take care of her... but something inside of her didn't want to let Shigiku go back to her parents...

As Namine sifted through the darkness, she found another memory and pulled it out so that it could be seen. She quickly scanned and saw that it might be another helpful piece to the puzzle... It was a memory of when Shigiku was younger... she had been spying on her parents talking with a guest who was visiting the house... and the guest was the same guy who wanted revenge. The guy seemed to be angry about something and Shigiku's parents were obviously trying to calm him down... although only a few words could be heard from such a far distance... Namine had heard the words "Family... Died... and pay..." What in the world were they talking about...?

Shigiku saw the memory as well and remembered she had seen it before... The guy had been strange when he came into their house so Shigiku had gotten curious and spied on them talking.

Axel already had his eyes shut, throwing himself into the same relaxation as they began to filter through her memories again. Hopefully, after Naminé has gotten the important images that might help them out, she'll pull the rest into the clearing as well until there was none left, putting back her memories as they once were, in full circle. That's what he wished for the most. It might take long, but with her light and his energy, it wasn't impossible to do now, and...it might actually connect them much easier and safer.

Going away from that contemplation though, he listened to what the figure was trying to say, the exact culprit who attacked Shigiku and her parents that night, defining the fact that it was indeed, revenge. The words were slurred, however, and he couldn't quite make them out either as the couple and the male argued. "Family".."die"..."pay"...his family died, and they were going to pay, or was it...he or she was going to pay? But why Shigiku's parents? They didn't seem to type to kill or murder....

He waited in bated breath to see if another memory pooped up...

Shigiku closed her eyes and relaxed, trying to make sure that she didnt let any of the memories get to her. She remembered the guy but she couldnt seem to remember his name...

Namine searched for more memories. She sealed the last memory with Axels emdrgy. She found another memory but it had nothing to do with their search.

 

Axel tried to be patient, hoping that there was one memory that would tell them where they stand now, not the past. "Why" can be found out later, "who" they knew by appearance, not name, but...where? Any clue as to where her parents might be hidden, whether here on the ship or somewhere else might be more suitable. That's what he was looking for, and paying attention to. Little extras would be helpful, yet it doesn't really say anything in particular to get closer to their goal, so he was awaiting that moment, if it was even there.

 

.........okay screw that idea.....Axel's probably going to kill Xengla anyway....

Gently, Namine put the memory in place... gradually building Shigiku's memory until it was back together completely. We might as well put all of them back together... Namine thought. Besides... there are only three left to find... She searched around for those three memories and in a few minutes... she found one. She pulled it out and stuck it in place, holding it there.

This memory was yet again of Shigiku spying... but she seemed a couple years older now. Her father was talking to that guy... and they were talking about taking her family to go on a vacation. Namine heard him say something about wanting to take their family on a cruise... and her dad mentioned the Disney Cruise. Then... Namine thought she heard something about a room with a "secret compartment" in it... but they didn't say what room it was. The two continued on talking about prices and stuff, but the memory soon ended and Namine sealed it in place with Axel's energy. A room with a secret compartment...? she thought. Maybe that's where they're being held... But which room is it...?

Shigiku looked at the memory. She remembered that she had been about 3 years old at the time... but the guy hadn't seemed strange to her before... he just seemed like a normal neighbor. That's right... she thought. He used to be our neighbor... and he'd come over every so often to talk with my parents...

OOC- well... Namine and Axel are searching through Shigiku's head to find her forgotten memories... in hopes that it will help them find the guy who took Shigiku's parents away from her and threw her into the water... ^^'
