Demyx sighed knowing she was going to be difficult. She was already asking questions and she seemed to be like one of these stubborn types. "Maybe I should explain it to her?" He asked Vexen even though he didn't trust him as far as he could throw him. "Okay, you're feeling lost and scared like anyone would, but we're here to help ya out. You don't want to alone forever do ya?" He kneeled before her to get her attention.

 

Alexx felt her stomach jump when he kneeled before her, "No I don't, Please don't kneel it looks odd."

 

"How so?" He wanted to look into her eyes to see how damaged her soul was. "You really are different aren't you?" He stood up so she wouldn't feel so uncomfortable as his height almost towered over hers. "That's fine though. All of us nobodies are different, but you do need help even though you're denying the whole thing."

 

"I'm sorry, But I do not recall denying anything." Alexx replied, she looked up at him, she wish she could have had some reaction on her face, but no reaction came to her, so her facial reaction turned out to be blank, "What did I deny?"

 

Demyx placed one hand on his hip and the other by his side. "Oh you verbally said you didn't, but your body language tells otherwise." Demyx was smiling underneath his hood. "Isn't it obvious how scared you were that you ran away from me? And what about that time just a few minutes ago when I was kneeling and you said it was odd? What was going through your mind that made you uncomfortable? Sounds a lot like denial, not accepting the fact of what you are now and afraid to do something about it." He placed his other hand in the air to reveal a dark portal that was swirling about. "So you have two choices. You can either run and hide like a coward and be lost and miserable or come with me and I'll explain everything of what you are now."

 

Alexx looked at the portal for a minute and back at Demyx, She didn't say it out loud, but she really had no idea why she ran, it was a reaction she just did, probably because when she was someone, she didn't run away from that heartless, but now he was giving her choices, to either run or come with him, she had to admit she was sick of running, but she wasn't so sure if she already knew what she is, after a few minutes, she spoke, "There's no reason to run and hide, I'll come with you."

 

Demyx cupped both of his hands together, greatful that he was actually productive and having completed his task. The other members would have to hold thier tongues now before putting him down. "Great. You made the best choice. Now just take hold of my hand and we'll go in together," he extended his hand out for her to grasp.

 

Xion stared at Neoph for what seemed like hours. She eventually turned around and left, headed to her room.

 

Alexx stared at his hand for a second, she almost regretted what she had just said the moment before, but since she already said it she couldn't take it back, she never took what she said back, she was still for a little longer before she grabbed his hand.

 

With her hand into his own, he clutched it gentely, the smoothness of his leather grip leaving a wet trace of moisture in her palm. Paying no attention, he led her through the portal the darkness swallowing them both up as the corridor of darkness loomed ahead towards the other side. "Just stay close to me or you could be devoured by the creatures in here. Don't worry my cloak that I wear will protect me from the darkness," he grinned underneath his hood. "If you're wondering where we are going feel free to ask any questions. I bet you have lots of them." His azure orbs scanned for the other direction that would lead them both out. Taking a turn with her in tow, he walked towards furthur through the passageway towards the light at the end of the tunnel.

 

Alexx was looking around slightly fascinated but as well scared, "Well.. not any at the moment." Alexx was quiet for a second before she spoke, "Actually I have one question, you called the other man Vexen, is that his name? You said it when I got stabbed in the shoulder with that-" Alexx was instantly silent, she couldn't think of the word. Then eventually her head raised slightly as she heard a small, high pitched sound and she tried to look around for the source, ending up looking over at the light.

 

Demyx turned his attention towards the screech he heard and then back at her. He than began to run with her knowing they had to get out of there as soon as possible. Enveloping himself in the light with her hand in his grasp, he pulled her through as he walked out of the dark passage way that disappeared the moment he and her were out. Gazing at his surroundings, his sight caught the looming luminous heart in the sky spreading its radiance upon the world. "Yeah that is what that old kook is called. No one hardly respects him though," he chuckled lightly after he answered her question. "You're probably wondering if I even have a face and not appear as a grim reaper huh?" His smile was spreading, revealing only that to her where the rest of his face was still hidden in the shadows of his hood.

 

Alexx shook her head, "Actually no, I asked earlier and you said I'd find out later, so I've set it in the back of my mind, it's the least of my worries right now." she replied trying to turn her head back slightly, she thought those heartless were weird but magic pathways were just way out of her mind's imagination, she eventually refused to look back and looked up at Demyx, "So where exactly are w-" as she was turning her heart her eyes caught attention to the world-sized heart in the sky and her voice quickly faded. "What is that?"

 

Demyx being the one to forget so easily simply laughed. "Yeah I did say that didn't I?" He decided to change the subject, but heard her voice before he could speak again. "Oh that?" Demyx pointed up at the heart shaped moon. "That's Kingdom Hearts. It's sort of a long story. You see, my boss would be better to explain it all to ya if I can find him." He led her through the darkness of the world as he came closer to walking upon the bridge that led towards the floating castle.

 

Alexx blinked and took her gaze off of the heart and looked back up at Demyx, "Oh alright then." she then started to think if she had anymore questions, she didn't, at least not yet.

 

"So then," he scratched the back of his head. There was a long pause before he spoke once more. "Do you want to see where you will be staying? I'll show you around." He offered.

 

Alexx was quiet for a long time looking around at what she could see and eventually replied, "Alright."

 

"Okay follow me. I just hope we don't run into any other members who would make fun of you or even try to hurt you. Vexen, the old guy you saw last, he's one to watch out for. He's the scientist of the group and will not stop at making these weird experiments of his." Demyx shook just thinking about it.

 

Alexx looked up at him with a confused face, "Why does he do them anyway? usually people don't do experiments on people they are stuck with.."

 

Demyx was confused as she was. Vexen was just plain creepy. "Who knows?" He commented with a shrug from his shoulders. "All I know is he's the one that attacked me which makes me wonder what in the hell does he have planned?"
