Persona 3/Persona 4: Mask of Existence

"Show-off." Ryoji smiled and readied his nunchucks.

 

"That's argeed Senpai, you are showing off." Junpei hacked at a Shadow.

"Kill or be killed, right?" Akihiko said as another Shadow called for reinforcements.

 

Ryoji twirled his nunchucks and hit one. Yukari and Arisa shot one together.

 

A shadow leap at Shinichi as he slashed it and it vanishied as he remained calm as Souji slashed a Shadow as well while Yosuke had his headphoens on and started tapping before stabbing a Shadow with his dagger.

"...I'm not gonna make a comment." Akihiko said to himself.

 

Ryoji continued to attack with his nunchucks.

 

The Shadows were soon destoryed and Souji panted a bit. "This will take some getting used to." He said to them.

 

"Good thing we're already used to it."

 

Yosuke removed his headphones as Souji rubbed behind his head. "Gues that's true we got experts." He said and Junpei laughed.

"Trust me, I thought the same when I joined and had to swing around a sword in our school and surprised that no-one could see you."

"It just goes to show that we are actually lucky we got sports to train ourselves with to defend ourselves." Akihiko said as Ken shouldered his lance

"You sure you guys know how to wield your weapons?" He asked the newcomers and Shinichi swung his sword a few times. "It's a little heavier than my usual wooden practice sword but it'll be natural." He said as Yosuke looked at Shinichi.

"You train with weapons before this?" He asked and Shinichi looked at him. "It was something to pass the time when I don't have work." He simply answered and Yosuke looked at him. "Oh...What about you Leader?" He asked and Souji looked at him.

"A little heavy and will take getting used to but like he said, it'll become natural to us eventually." He responded.

 

"Yukari, you think you can summon your Persona without fear like last time?" Arisa said, placing the gun to her head. Yukari shook but nodded at Arisa.

 

Shinichi looked at his hand. "Persona huh..." He thought as he made a fist with it and Junpei nudged him. "Don'y worry about it dude, it's better to have something to defend yourself.

"Yeah...but does it hurt?" He asked and Junpei looked at him. "Well, your mind is forcibly stressed and that's how we summoned our Persona through those guns, it can be taxing on the mind and body if used too much." He said thoughtfully.

 

Arisa smiled and found another flight of stairs.

 

The group followed Arisa and Souji who walked behind Arisa.

 

Arisa entered a room much different than the last one, standing in the middle of the room was Chie and one of the girls shown from last night. Yukari could hear Yukiko's voice from somewhere and looked around.

 

"It's Yukiko-san! But where is she?" Yosuke asked and ran up to Chie. "Chie!" He yelled out to her.

"Overreacting a bit isn't he?" Junpei jokingly asked.

 

"It's just her voice, but she sounds sad......." Arisa said, ignoring what Junpei said.

 

"I guess this world is telling us her true feelings peharps." Shinichi concluded as Souji looked at him.

"Your right, it could be Yukiko's Shadow." He said.

 

Chie listened and saw a other Chie with yellow eyes and a dark aura. She grinned evilly.

 

"Okay...that's one freaky Chie-tan there." Junpei said.

 

Arisa gripped her bow as another version of the girl appeared beside her, the two became Shadows. Yukari gasped and brought her gun to her head, visibly shaking.

 

The Shadows were soon striking as Souji quickly summoned out Izanagi to fend off Chie's Shadow as Yosuke summoned out his new Persona, Jiraya.

"GO!" Both shouted as Izanagi and Jiraya were double teaming the Chie Shadow as Shinichi quickly siderolled to avoid the twin shadow. "Well, This surely isn't fair." He noticed Yukari's visable trembling.
