Hattori got into a defensive position.

 

His mother stabbed young Josh and got shocked, making her jump back. Josh got to his feet as a shadow appeared behind him.

 

Hattori watched the scene, still defensive.

 

The shadow posessed young Josh and he smiled like he was now. "You hurt me mommy." young Josh said, pulling out the knife. "Now I'm gonna hurt you."

 

So this is why he's acting so strange. The shadow that possessed him never left his body.

 

Like the Death Shadow and that leader took held of me.... Arisa thought, showing the scene and holding Aigis closer.

 

Young Josh leaped at his mother and stabbed her several times, killing her. Regular Josh laughed and turned towards them. "This is why there is no shadow. It is within me." he said. He slowly walked to them, dragging his bat.

 

There's gotta be a way to separate the two. Can you think of anything, Lucifer?

Give me a minute. Metatron and I can think of something.

 

Arisa called out the Death Shadow and it attacked Josh. Think quickly, the Death Shadow won't able to distact him for long.

 

Hattori called up a light barrier to protect everyone while Metatron and Lucifer brainstormed.

 

Josh dodged it and ran at them, swinging his bat.

 

Arisa held Aigis close to her and controlled the attack of the Death Shadow.

Yes, it's meant to separate two beings that share the same body. That's why it didn't effect Teddie's shadow.

 

Because his shadow was separated from his body! But how are you get him and destroyed his shadow?

 

He turned around and swung at it.

 

The void shot can't kill his shadow, only pull it from his body and disconnect it's link with Josh, keeping it from re-entering his body.

 

The shadow blocked and attacked him. Arisa turned to it, controlling the attack. Well, it better work, Lucifer.

 

It will if Hattori puts all of his energy into the shot. Be ready to defend him after that, because he'll be too drained to move.

 

Josh dodged and attacked again.
