Persona: Mask of Innocence

Jett continued to train in his home with Xawnd, away from all the action he was unaware of going on not too far away.

 

"Being thankful isn't the bad but..." Shinji looked out behind the window as the Shadows were chasing after them. "These guys just won't quit." he said to them

He then noticed the roof could be retractable and he quickly pulled it down so there was nothing in the way. "I'm counting on you not to crash."

He put out his metal gloved hands as they soon changed oraneg and he fired off a shot of fire at the Shadows, eliminating some of them.

 

"Trust me, I won't crash. Help him out, Nakim."

"Can do, boss." Nakim said before launching bursts of water at the approaching shadows.

 

Arisa sat in her seat, staring out the window.

 

"Those things seem to be backing off. We should be safe at my house."

 

Suki looked at the body of the girl. "Think she's alright?"

 

"I hope so." he said. "We've got to get her out of here!" Just then, the monster grabbed him and shook him around.

 

"Ovan!!!!!" Suki called out Hermes and he grabbed the arm. She slashed through the arm.

 

Hattori parked the car in his driveway.

"Here we are. We better get inside, just in case those things are lurking about."

 

Unfortunatly, the hand was still squeezing him. "Go!" he said. "Get her to safety! Don't worry about me!"

 

Suki picked the girl's body up and ran out.

Arisa stepped out and gently closed the door.

 

As soon as they left, Navo took over. He cackled wickedly and tore the monster to pieces with his bare hands.

 

Hattori unlocked the door to the house and stepped inside.

"Keep them company for a while, Nakim. I've got to go talk to grandpa."

"Alright. Tell him I said hi."

 

"His grandfather knows about you?"

 

"Hattori's grandpa had a persona too. Gramps died a few years back though. You see, when Hattori was seven, he was attacked by demons when he was at the beach. I had to help him out. But when his parents saw Hattori using my powers, they threw him out. Gramps took him in and raised him."

 

"Hard for him, huh?"

 

He left the restaurant in search of things to kill, whether they be demons or humans.

 

"Definately. After his parents threw him out, he swore he would never trust anyone that who don't have a persona. He went as far as to cut all ties with his family by changing his last name, as he felt his grandpa was the only family he really had."

 

Shinji stared at hattori leaving as nakim and Arisa talked about his parents. "Guess it's a good thing they don't know about my life with mine" he thought to himsel as hands were in his pockets,

Shinji just lived in the dorms nearby the school so he could get away from his own house and drunk father as he looked at his right shoulder and touched it before taking in a breather.

"Family huh."

 

"Thankfully, gramps left Hattori all of his inheritance and the house so he would be able to take care of himself. His drunkard of a father comes by every now and then to beg for money. His parents tried to convince him to live with them again, but when he found out that all they wanted was the money, he told them he never wanted to see them again. Their greed sickened him, and frankly it made me sick too. After all, they threw him out because he had a persona, and they would have threw him out again once they got their hands on the inheritance."
