Persona: Mask of Innocence

"It's okay." he said. "You're safe."

 

"Come back home, Hattori."

"I've never lived with you, Mr. Najima. I would appreciate it if you would quit showing up on my doorstep."

"Hattori, what's with you calling me Mr. Najima? I'm your dad."

"You're a sad, pathetic drunk that threw his own son out for having powers that you couldn't understand. You make me sick. And for your information, my last name is Nakamura. Now please leave and never come back again." Hattori said before slamming the door in his father's face.

"Believe it or not, that's one of their more calm conversations. Last time he was here, he attacked Hattori with a knife."

 

"Wow, that is unbelievable." Arisa sighed.

"I'm just scared, you know." Suki gripped his shoulder.

 

"You're telling me. I had to keep Hattori from drowning his dad. To be honest though, I would have strangled his dad if I could."

 

"I understand." he said, holding her tight.

 

"But he can't see you, cause you're a persona and he's not a persona user."

 

"Thank goodness for that. Although I'd have some fun scaring the daylights out of him."

"That's enough, Nakim. Let's not talk about that wretch anymore." Hattori said as he looked away and wiped a few tears from his eyes.

 

Arisa couldn't help but notice Hattori wipe some tears. "Something wrong?"

Suki just held onto him, her wings covering them

 

"It's nothing." Hattori said with a fake smile on his face.

"Now what would you like to eat?"

 

He lifted her head up and looked into her eyes.

 

"Don't lie. Something's bothering you." Arisa could feel his sadness.

Suki looked up into his eyes, wiping her tears.

 

He kissed her on the lips, hoping to take away her sadness and fear.

 

Hattori sighed.

"As much as I hate my dad, I kinda miss him. I just can't seem to forgive him for treating me like he has though. It tears me up."

 

Suki was takenback, but she kissed him back.

Arisa sighed. "Just remember the times with your grandfather, alright?"

 

He held her tight and kissed her like never before.

 

"That's normally what he does. That's why he's crying though."

 

Spades was in another casino on yet another winning streak.

 

Suki just continued to hold onto him.

"Rough. Wish I could remember my life."

 

"Must be rough for you."

 

He continued kissing her, his heart racing.
