Persona: Mask of Innocence

"Maybe it wasn't a dream. Igor said I didn't have the power of the wild card, but I could go there."

Suki led the way to her house.

 

He followed behind her. I wonder why she wants to bring me to her house. he thought.

 

"Why wouldn't they just give it to you in person then?"

"Because they can't leave the room."

 

After unlocking the door, Suki saw the girl was awake. "Hey, how are you?"

"Fine. I didn't introduce myself. Rydia Arose, the new transfer student."

"You know about Igor and Elizabeth, Nakim?"

 

Shinji went into the kitchen after Hattori shut the door on his 'father and he got a glass and poured some water inside of drank it and went outside into the back garden, strenching out in frotn of his body

"Looks like you are losing to him partner." Kumoi then appeared before him as a ball of fire.

"I know already, but what if she doesn't like me?" He asked his Persona.

"Well, you'll find that out yourself.

Shinji nodded and he saw something on the floor and picked it up, it was a small ball.

"Reminds of those days before I left." He said to his Persona and threw it up in the air and caught it as he remembered back in his past.

~1 year ago~

A younger version of Shinji was in the house as his father returned and he stared at him, his father smelled like beer and was clearly drunk as he spoke.

"I'm hoommmmee" his father said drunkly.

Shinji looked at his father with digust. "Welcome home, father." he said bluntly as his father touched his shoulder. "what's for dinner tonight...?"

Shinji moved his father's hand off his shoulder. "Dinner? is that all you have to say!? You come home, drunk every eveing and all you ask now is dinner!! No wonder why Mom le-"

His father glared at him intent on silencing his son. "Don't speak about that bit-"

"Don't you dare call her that! that's it, I had enough, I'm leaving!" He shouted at him and headed for the door and was about to place his shoe son until his drunken father slammed him into the glass section on the door and Shinji's shoulder was bleeding as his uniform was soaked in blood and he held his bloody shoulder and pushed his father away and opened the door, running.

~Back to the Present~

"And when I came to the hospital, they tried their best to treat it and it did heal evenetually, but, the tendons in my shoulder as torn apart and can enever heal, so I can only lift this arm up." Shinji raised his arm to the same level as his shoulder was. "To this height, that's why I quit the basketball team."

Kumoi just stared at Shinji. "No one knows about it though, not even those two in there, if they find out you can't use that arm to attack in the air, they'll wonder why."

"Then I'll explain it, they deserve to know at least that much." Shinji finished as he stared at the sky.

 

"Of course. All persona know about them."

 

"I'm Ovan." he said. He had forgotten she was there.

 

"Icarus, do you and Nakim know about the power of the wild card? Igor said it was the power to hold mulitp persona."

"That's true. The person who has the power of the wild card can create and hold muplite persona."

 

"That's right. Only one person has been known to hold the wild card at any given time. You might be the next one to receive it."

 

"Interesting. Igor told me that I didn't have the power of the wild card. Why can't they leave the Velvet Room?"

"They live there."

"Suki."

Rydia smiled as she asked. "Are you dating?"

"No!!!!!!!!!"

 

"They need to decorate more."

 

When she said no like that, he felt his heart break. "I guess I better get going." he said, trying not to cry.

 

Suki grabbed his hand to stop him. "Stay. She was just joking."

"Agreed."

Arisa thought about her visit to the Velvet Room. "Icarus, how does Igor know if someone has the wild card?"

 

Kumoi stared at Shinji. "They are talking about that room huh."

"Room?" Shinji was confused.

"The Velvet Room, which houses two people who have superior knowledge about Persona and their abilites, but the room only opens to teh one who holds the wild card. he said to him as SHinji was even more confused.

"The wild card is said to be able to hold multiple Persona at one time so it's a very rare event to see someone who bears different Personas at once. He contined until Shinji aske dhim another question

"And where is this person who holds this power?"

"No one knows, the wild card is a random event to happen, although, there were others who held this power and so far, all I know is two people."

"Who?" SHinji asked his Persona.

"A boy named Minato Arisato and a girl called Aigis, that's all i know, their names. Kumoi said and continued. "Igor told us Persona about those two who have accomplished what they needed at the end of their journey."

Shinji nodded, he couldn't ask more since his Persona knew nothign more and he walked back in teh house with Kumoi floating behind him in fireball state.

 

"Do you know, Icarus? I personally don't."

 

OOC: Who was joking? Wasn't it suki who said no?

 

"Don't really. I guess, he just knows who has it."

OCC: Suki believes Rydia was joking about them dating.

 

"It's getting late, Hattori."

"And your point is?"

"You've got school tomorrow."

"So?"

"Just go to bed, Hattori. You're going to school tomorrow."

"Fine."

Hattori turned to Shinji.

"You're welcome to stay the night if you want. You'll have to crash on the couch, though."

 

OOC: Yeah, but he thinks they are, so he's upset.

BIC: "I really should." he said, letting a single tear fall.

 

"You can stay!" Suki said. "Really..... I'll take you to the guest rooms."
