Persona: Mask of Innocence

"Who are you talking about?" he asked.

 

"Maybe the rest will come back to you soon. For now, let's get out of here. Looks like the teacher's not showing up."

 

Arisa grinned. "Yeah....."

"Navo...... why?" Suki gripped his shoulder.

 

He sighed. "It's because he is me. He is my inner darkness." he said.

 

"The school's too quiet. None of the teachers seem to be here today. You wanna just cut school altogether?"

 

"Yeah....." Arisa stood up.

Suki laid her head back down, sighing.

 

"I'm sorry." he said. "But he's not coming out ever again." He wasn't as sure as he would have liked to have been, still shaken up from the dream.

 

"Let's go get your clothes from the hospital. I'll take you to get some new ones afterwards."

 

Suki smiled and hugged him. "Doesn't your persona come out instead of him?"

"Lets go already." Arisa said.

 

"My persona appears when he wants to." he said. "He isn't really inside me. You could say Navo is my true persona and Durga is the embodyment of my power."

 

Hattori got up and left the classroom.

"At least we won't have to worry about the rain. Looks like it stopped."

 

Arisa followed him and nodded.

"Yeah."

Suki didn't hear him, because she fell asleep again.

 

Hattori went to the car and started it up.

 

He sighed and gently moved her off of him, trying not to wake her.

 

Suki smiled and continued to sleep.

Arisa walked out to the car.

 

Ovan got out of bed and went to the kitchen. He looked out the window and sighed. What's going to happen between us? he thought.

 

Hattori drove towards the hospital.

"I hope there's none of those demons there like there was last night."

 

"Those demons were a pain."

Suki was still in the bed, sleeping. Softly moaned, she whiserped, "Ovan.... I love...... you......."

 

"True. Getting you out of there would have been a lot smoother if they hadn't have attacked us."

 

Ovan wasn't sure what to do. He almost never had dreams, and when he did, they usually had something to do with something that was going to happen in reality. He had a feeling what would happen. Navo would find a way to come out again and kill Suki. He had to get as far away from her as possible to prevent that, but wasn't sure he could.
