He sighed. "I had a dream, a rare occasion for me, about him killing Suki. But before he did, he said 'In the end, I'll kill her.'" he explained. "Most of my dreams have something to do with something happening in reality. So I'm afraid that Navo really will kill her eventually. So to prevent that, I've decided to leave for good."

"Suki really liked you. You know that." Arisa sighed.

 

"You left her, but you never considered her feelings. You know she's going to look for you." Hattori said as he looked at Ovan with a piercing gaze.

 

"Yeah, I know." he said. "And I really like her too, but it's for the best."

"I told her not to come after me, though." he said.

 

"If she really loves you, she will."

 

"Sometimes, you might have to let go, but she will not. She cares for you too deeply."

 

"It's safer for her to stay away." he said, looking down.

 

"You know she won't. Whatever this darkness inside you is, you'll just have to get stronger and crush it, for her sake, and yours."

 

"But I can't! He is me and I am him! Besides, without the darkness, I'm nothing." he said. "Believe me, I wish this could work out, but it can't!"

 

Arisa sighed. "You can never run away from problems."

 

"I meant for you to make the darkness submit to your will. After all, the darkness is your power, and you need to take control over it, or else it'll consume your soul."

 

"But he is the darkness, he will only get stronger if I do that!" he said. "You just don't understand him! I'm the only one who does!" He ran off.

 

"Geez, what's his problem?" Hattori said as he got on the motorcycle.

 

Arisa sighed. "Poor guy......"

 

"We better get going." Hattori said as he started the motorcycle.

"Before I forget, put this on. It gets a little chilly while riding this thing." He said as he pulled another leather jacket out of his bag and handed it to her.

 

"Right." Arisa hopped on the motorcycle.

Suki sat by the window, softly singing, "What I'd give for one more day.... just to say the things I need to say. If only time was not erased......."

 

He ran until he tripped over his own feet and fell to the ground. He just lay there crying.
