Persona - Mask of Origins

Zain picked up his guitar and leaned against the couch, playing a random song.

 

Yuki closed her eyes and listened.

 

Toya let out a small sneeze as he prepared for the party.

Sakuya was training and went to ready for the party.

OCC: There is a belief in Japan that if you sneeze, there's someone talking about you.

 

Zain let the song slip into something sad. His thoughts drifted to how sad his life had been until now. He still didn't look forward to school again, the girls would still be there, ooh-ing over his hair and apparently how pretty he looked.

 

Yuki stood up and went to get some fresh air. She let her thoughts drift for a while.

 

Toya looked out his window and sighed. He wasn't looking forward to the party for some reason.

 

Yuki waited for Sakuya so they could go to the party. She still hadn't read the letter that Toya had sent her.

 

Toya wanted if Yuki read the letter he gave her. The letter was to tell her if she could convince Sakuya to like him.

Sakuya went to Yuki's house to pick her up.

 

Yuki read the letter before Sakuya got there. She waved when she saw her.

"Give me a sec, Sakuya, I've got to get Zain."

 

"Okay, I'll be waiting right here."

 

Yuki walked back inside.

"Time to go, Zain!" She called out.

 

Zain stopped his sad song and stood, "Alright! Let's go!" he grinned and waved at Sakuya, "Hey. My, my, I feel lucky. Escorting two beautiful ladies to a party."

 

Sakuya smiled and waved at him. She then led them to the Suzuhara Mansion, telling the guard that Zain was with her and Yuki. Sakuya sighed at the large amount of people in the mansion.

 

"Wow, it's a packed house. Who would have thought there would be this many people gathered for a birthday party?"

 

"Considering that I'm the heir to a well-known fortune, this stuff is not unknown to me." Toya walked up and smiled, giving them each a drink.

 

Zain's jaw dropped, "Holy...cool, I've never been in a mansion before. I'm gonna check out the kitchen!" He dashed off around the mansion.

 

"Don't get into too much trouble, Zain!" Yuki yelled to him before turning back to Toya.

"That's my brother. He's an excellent cook."

 

Toya nodded and smiled. Sakuya just took a sip of her drink.

 

Zain eagerly examined Toya's kitchen. "Ah man, what I wouldn't give for a kitchen like this!" Searching the spice rack he realized not many of them were opened or used frequently. "Hmm, someone lacks a creative chef." He looked around at the food prepared for the day, disappointment met his creative eyes.

 

Yuki was determined to keep Sakuya and Toya together.

"We should have Zain cook something for us. You'll love it."
