"Yuki-chan, can I look at the lyrics you wrote? And can you explain them to me?"

 

"Sure, go ahead Sakuya." Yuki said.

 

Sakuya looked at the lyrics and smiled. "Wow, Yuki-chan, this is amazing!"

 

Upstairs, Zain savagely hit his head against the bars and gnawed on them, "I want out! Yuki...lemme go!" Hitting his head on the bars and leaving it there, he growled, humanity slipping from him little bits at a time.

Orphan had fallen asleep and hissed in his dreams.

 

"You think so? You can keep them. Maybe if your kid grows up to be a singer, that can be one of her songs." Yuki said, trying to ignore Zain

 

Sakuya nodded and smiled. She put the lyrics away and sighed.

 

"I guess I'll try and get some sleep now, as much as I don't want to."

 

Sakuya nodded and sighed.

 

Yuki curled up on the couch and fell asleep.

 

Sakuya laid on the floor and fell asleep.

 

Yuki yawned as she woke up the next morning.

 

Sakuya was still fast asleep.

 

Zain gasped as he woke and pulled on the bars, "What's going on?! Yuki? Orphan!? Would somebody explain to me why I'm in a cage?!"

 

Yuki let Zain out of the cage.

 

Sakuya woke up and stretched.

 

"Sorry about that, Zain. I had to keep you in that cage, because you were turning feral."

 

Zain rubbed his hair, "Odd how I don't remember a thing. Where's Orphan, he's not with me. Oh, man, I hope you have my lance. Liz's husband made it for me, studiest thing I could ever own."

 

"I left it downstairs." Yuki said. "You feel up to making breakfast for me and Sakuya?"

 

He rubbed his forehead and nodded, "I'm always up to cooking. Hey, it's my duty to take care of you, food wise. I'm on it. Anything you two want?"

 

"I'm good with anything. You might want to ask Sakuya."
