Persona - Mask of Origins

Yuki finished eating and stretched.

 

Zain struggled with the silence and plucked his guitar. Playing the Nutcracker theme from his childhood. "It's funny, really. I've never been able to remember my mom and yet when you played that song, a very real image of her popped into my head."

 

"That's pretty odd. Next you'll tell me that I remind you of your mom."

 

Zain laughed and smiled at her from across the table, "I feel like you'd like her a lot. Mom...I wonder what kind of person she was." Leaning back in his chair he drifted off into his thoughts.

 

Yuki sighed and started to sing again.

 

Sakuya sighed and listened to Yuki.

 

Yuki stopped singing.

"I guess we should head to school."

 

Sakuya nodded and left for school.

 

Yuki walked with Zain to school.

"So how are you getting along with Toya, Sakuya?"

 

"Toya-kun and I are fine, we're just friends......." Sakuya sighed.

 

"You two haven't even gone on a date? I figured you'd two would at least go out once before you got stuck being married."

 

"He's just too scared to ask me, saying he has lessons or something. Hey, Yuki-chan, I heard there's a cute new teacher that teaches karate."

 

"Oh really? What's his name?"

 

"I think they said his name is Toji Najima or something like that."

 

"I'll have to go to the dojo today and check him out."

 

"I'll go with you. You know, to give you words of encouragement."

 

"Oh, Sakuya." Yuki said before the teacher walked in and started class.

 

Sakuya smiled and listened to the teacher.

 

Yuki listened intently. Many of the other students were surprised that she wasn't asleep in class like she usually was.

 

Sakuya smiled, Yuki was only paying attention because she wanted to meet the dojo teacher.
