Persona: New Awakening

Arthur entered the Command Room where he found the other members already gathered around, he had received the message from Leila during his visit to Iwatodai Station and had already suspected a meeting was to be scheduled any time soon considering the new members. ". .Hello" he greeted those that were there and sat down on the sofa across from Leila where he spotted two new silver suitcases. Most likely Evokers for the new recruits. ..

 

The first thing Allen noticed when he got to the command room was that he was the once again the last one. So, now we get some more recruits He thought taking a seat and waiting for Leila to make the annocument.

 

Leila moved forward a bit, watching everyone make their way to the Command Room. Looking at everyone, she opened her mouth to speak but closed it when she noticed Holden. "Holden," she quietly said, quickly noticing something was wrong with him. Before she could stand up and confront him in front of everyone, she quickly stopped herself and lowered her head, deciding to avoid a scene in front of the others. Clearing her throat, she crossed her legs again and sat up straight, keeping her head low. "I'm sure all of you already have an idea on why you're here. There are several things that need to be said tonight. The first thing is on the two new Persona-users that have come up."

 

Hattori remained quiet as he listened. He had an uneasy look on his face as he looked around the room.

So these are the people I'll be working with. Compared to them, I'll probably look like a total novice. He thought to himself.

 

Tick tock went the clock and with each tick, Vincent was one second closer to the Dark Hour. While there was still much time before it would start, each succesive tick made Vincent a little uneasy of what was to come. He may have already been through it once before but the recent revelation of Shadows and the threat that they posed made Vincent a little nervous of the possible that he would be getting himself into.

"Well I got the rest of the team," said Vincent as he picked up the jacket that laid on the seat of his chair and put it on. I'm sure I'll get used to everything with time. He thought as he exited his room and headed up upstairs to the Command Room. Opening the door to see the most of the group had already arrived and that Leila was just about to introduce the new teammates, Vincent walked in, waving hi to the rest of the team.

 

Noticing Vincent come into the Command Room, Leila smiled and turned towards one of the suitcases, picking up one and placing it onto the table in front of her. She made it face the group as she opened it, revealing an Evoker inside of it. She stood up from the chair and placed her hands on her hips, looking towards Vincent's direction. "This is your weapon, Vincent. This is what you use to summon your Persona." She placed one hand on the top of the case, looking towards the rest of the group. "I'm sure you've made your decision, right?"

 

Hattori looked over at Leila. "So who's the other evoker for?" He asked, trying not to sound rude.

 

OCC: Sorry for the somewhat late reply. My internet last night bugged out on me and I couldn't reply.

Looking down at the gun that laid down on top of the desk, Vincent didn't know what to say. 'How is this suppose to summon my Persona?' He thought as he picked the "gun" up from the desk to give it a closer look. Upon further inspection, he noticed that while the object looked very much like a handgun, it wasn't. It had the appearance of a gun but it had no ammo and its magazine actually had no place to put ammo. 'Strange. How am I suppose to fight with this?' Turning his attention back to Leila and the rest of the team, he said, "Of course I've made my decision. From now on, I'll be helping you guys." Looking down at the Evoker in his hands, he chuckled and added, "But how do I use this? I'm such a newb."

 

Leila closed the empty suitcase and placed it back where it was earlier, grabbing the other and placing it on the table. "Point it to your head and pull the trigger. You'll be able to summon your Persona that way. I'll also be giving you a different weapon later that way you won't have to use your Persona all the time." Open the second case, she turned towards Hattori and motioned for him to pick up the Evoker. "It's for you." Leila took a step back and crossed her arms, lowering her head as she closed her eyes. "There was also another person I wanted to talk about. I heard from Ms. Kirigo that she was contacted by an old friend about another student from Gekkoukan High that has the potential. Anyone here, besides Terri and Holden, know of Haruka Hotaru?"

 

"I can't say that I've met her, but then again, I was never known for being social." Hattori said as he picked up his evoker and pocketed it. He sat back down so Leila could continue the meeting.

 

Leila looked at Hattori and then at Holden when each of them spoke, quickly looking away after Holden did. She closed the second suitcase and set it off to the side, sitting back down on the chair, crossing her legs and arms. "She won't be coming. She doesn't even know of the Dark Hour, Tartarus, any of this. I was informed that she stays with Officer Kurosawa. And she apparently told him about the Dark Hour. From what it seems, she has experienced it. If the Shadows haven't preyed on her yet, then it means she has the potential to become a Persona-user." She sat back against the chair and breathed in deeply. "I wanted you all to know of the possibility of another joining our group."

 

Haruka left the house and started the usual walk (skate) to her workplace with her Ipod on and her usual happy mood despite it being so late.
She didn't really HAVE to work, Kurosawa had told her as much, although at the same time he felt it was good of her to be doing something too...
but she said that she didn't just want to sit around the house, she wanted to help out how she could and so, she went to work part-time.
She actually kinda enjoyed it anyway.

 

Arthur remained silent watching as Vincent obtained his Evoker, and so with that a new member added into S.E.E.E.S. He glanced over to the other suitcase and then thought of the mentioned girl who would most likely end up joining, though Holden's comment made him break his silence. "We need all the help we can get. .if she's not suited for battle then she can be of some other use. As of now, we have no idea on what we're up against other than by name. Those shadows are roaming around in large numbers and it won't be long before they start attacking more innocent people." he paused his green gaze narrowing at the group. He still had his doubts about the whole situation but kept that to himself, "The Apathy Syndrome is on the rise, the public is taking notice now. . .we really can't afford to loose a new addition to S.E.E.S."

 

'She can't be serious,' thought Vincent as he looked down at the Evoker that rested on his hand. The thought of putting it to his head and pulling the trigger made him feel a little anxious. Looking back up at Leila, he could tell from her straight face that she truly was serious about what she had just said. 'Well at least it's not a real gun.'

When Leila brought up the subject of Haruka Hotaru, Vincent mostly kept to himself, leaning against the wall because he knew nothing about her. But it worried him that there was also somebody out there alone and probably clueless to what was going on during the Dark Hour and while he was able to find S.E.E.S, she was still out there. 'And then there's the Shadows...' thought Vincent as he pulled away from the wall. "Does it matter if she could be a liability?" asked Vincent as he scratched the back of his head. "The Dark Hour is going to start soon and if she's out there, the Shadows could get her. Now I don't know about you but I just can't leave somebody out there."

 

Leila smiled at Vincent's comment and looked at the others that said their own thoughts. "Well, there might be a time where we'll run into a person with the potential and not want to join SEES. I mean, hearing that there's a different time period and knowing monsters really exist can be a little overwhelming for some people." Sighing lowly, she closed her eyes once more and rubbed her forehead. "Whether the girl is a liability or not, it'll simply be her choice whether she wants to join. We won't force her into this."

"She seemed full of energy," Terri quietly spoke, moving slightly forward from where she was sitting. "Or at least a bit of energy. What can cause someone to have the potential?"
