I hate people who call Anime Cartoon... No kid just stop yourself

Try hards in online gaming and when you completely demolish them they give so many excuses -,-

People on here who swear they are gods and know it all. I can't stand people like that, but it seems that online courage has made that ego of yours go to a new all time high.

Those who say what they hear on the radio is real rap/ hip-hop... No just stop please you'll get hurt that way

Little kids on online gaming. You say you wanna do my mom when its impossible for you to do that from the other side of the screen.

People in online gaming who try to give life lessons trying to belittle someone

People who swear they're MLG I love beating those kids in ISO(ISO is a basketball term where the ball holder and the person guarding them have the court to themselves. No one on either team can get in the way. A 1v1 IN A GAME OF 5V5. I just like to say ISO and I think I spelt the word ISO wrong for this tense.)

Those who can't handle raw skill

Swag Kids... Actual I hate them all so much I can't stand anyone of them at all.

Smartasses on here and just anywhere online. You want so badly to act like such an intellectual individual where google, and bing are always available to you.

People who say they'd do this that and the third to a major or tragic event when they themselves haven't experienced anything to that caliber at all. Keep that tough guy act to yourself you talk big, but if something like that does happen to you then what?

Teachers who say one thing and when the test pops up all that they've said has absolutely nothing to do with the test at all.

Muscle Cars being the best... Naw Imports all day

People who interrupt others when talking or ignore them.
It makes them feel unwanted and uninteresting, well that is how I feel anyway, the least you can do is let them finish.

People who disobey to seem cool.
I know it's all part of the rebelling stage but I just get sick of it really because it's not cool, it's attention seeking.

    Bullies.
Someone who has to put someone else down to feel good about themselves needs a new life lesson really- they need to address their problems without involving others.

People who put me down for being different
Not just me but anyone. I like to be different, I pride in it in fact. I don't want to blend in, so don't make me.

People who yell at you for doing something and then do it themselves.
The most annoying is my friend Holly who yells at me all the time for things that I do, if I were to mention Doctor Who (or if someone else does and I latch onto it) then she rolls her eyes and tells me to shut up. However, when it comes to Harry Potter she won't shut up and I can't dare tell her to shut up because "it's not my place".

As well as this, my other friend claims to have all these things she absolutely detests (seriously, there is like a new one at least every day) and she makes sure I don't do them but when it comes to me, she fails to respect mine. For example, the other day she told me she hated when people didn't pay her back right away and so I made sure to repay her money quickly but when we were working on a project together and she left the lid off a pen and I said "Can you keep the lids on your pens when you aren't using them because I really hate it otherwise." She refused and carried on.

People who talk and ask questions during films
Just watch and you will find out! Instead you are missing the answer by asking the question!

People who leave the lids off of pens when they aren't using them
Honestly, I just hate it, I almost feel it drying out and becoming useless. It's even worse if it's a felt tip pen/white board marker.

Feel the pain. ...Alright, my turn.

Girls who constantly post "I'M AN INDEPENDENT BLACK WOMAN AND DON'T NEED NO MAN" and other such things on Facebook. I don't get what's with the need to empower yourself so often. Nobody cares. Stop asking for so much attention and make me a sandwich. Seriously though, it's annoying. If a guy does it, they'd likely get chewed out. If a girl does it, they're just "showing their independence" or some bs like that. This is coming off a little sexist, but...yeah I don't care if it's coming off sexist. I DON'T NEED NO MAN.

People who bring up physics or mathematics into an argument and end up being entirely wrong or making assumptions. This is my area of expertise. I will call you out on it. I don't blame people for not being great in these areas, I feel good educating said people by correcting them. There are just some out there who think they're experts on something just because they looked it up on Wikipedia 10 minutes ago. Actually, "Wikipedia Addicts" would be a more general term I suppose.

People who say they "remixed" a song by doing barely anything to it. This one is hard for me to explain so I'll just leave it out there for interpretation.

People who say Terry McGinnis isn't a better Batman. HE IS RED BATMAN.

Everyone who doesn't like the following: Morgan Freeman, Alan Rickman, Christopher Walken, Patrick Stewart, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jack Black. "But Arch! Everyone has different tastes!" Not liking any of them means your tastes suck. B| "But Arch! Opinion-" NO. GO SUCK IT.

Scientologists. Did I offend anyone? Yes? Too bad.

I have plenty more out there but these are just some of the highlights.

My Pet peeves? Now this will take a while.

    People who interrupt me
My family constantly interrupt me even when i ask them not to. I recall one moment we were in this quiz where one f the questions was "Who was the Greek goddess of love forced to marry?" I went through the list and was getting to the point when they said "Shut up" Then I said "But the answer is Heth.." And my mum said "shut up you don't know anything!" That drove me nuts.

People who try to force you to do something you don't want to or not ready for.
I know I can be guilty of this myself but still it drives me mental. Why the hell would you force someone to join your football team if they don't want to play? Heck it also drives me nuts when I hear from some friends that their partner's tried to get them into bed. Half the time I just want to go to the people who do and punch them in the face.

    Stereotypes
Do I really need to explain this one?

People who treat others like idiots
I have seen so many people treat others like idiots because of so many small grammar errors. So what if they fail on small parts of Grammar at least they are trying can you say the god damn same!

People who say you have no talent
We all have a talent we just have yet to discover it. I have seen some good stories and role playing, I have even seen some good artistic work and I have to say that is good work. I write Stories and rhymes and I had someone say I had no talent that drove me nuts since it came out of no where and hell they were no better than I am.

    Bullies
I'm a glasses wearing red head with little to no muscles who doesn't leave his house half the time do I really need to explain this one?

    Fake Identities
I hate it when people try to act like someone they are not, like the tough guy or the smart guy. Why the hell do you want to hide yourself so much? This world was meant for the real you to live in not some wanna be fake!

    Religious converters
I hate it when people try to convert others to their beliefs or religion. I mean we all make our own choices if we want to be part of yours we will find our own way there don't bug us about it!

People who mock characters you like or Idolize to your face
I know this one is kind of childish but I snap when people make fun of the characters I like. One instance is that I completely cut all contact it someone because they called my Sonic character Idol a waste of space.

People who refuse to give you a chance
I've been hunting jobs fir ages and I constantly hear "You do not have any experience so how do we know you can handle the work?" I am always like "Give me a chance and I'll prove I can handle it" And that isn't the only way this gets to me. It also gets to me when you make one mistake and people refuse to give you a chance to make it up to them.

    Meaningless lyrics
A perfect example of this is Justin Beiber's song Baby or Cheryl Cole's parachute. All they are repeating the same worthless words over and over it drives me completely nuts.

That is all for now but there is more of them.

When my mother tells me to do something

and I am literally just about to do it.

Like if It's late and I'm about to go to bed, and she's like "it's time to get off the computer." because she said that, I am so annoyed to the point where I will not get off.

So basically when I'm about to/planning on doing on something, and somebody reminds me.

When people insist on asking how you are and making useless chitchat for the point of getting me to socialize, and then get mad at me because I refuse to to do what they want. I. Don't want to. talk to you. How can I make this clear?

And, tbh, off the top of my head, I have absolutely no idea what any other of my petpeeves are. ._.

Good lord, my list of pet peeves is award-able, but I won't list all of them. I suppose it's more of a list of things that make me violently irritant, rather than small pet peeves like the OP would have us list.

People who are usually rude to me trying to be nice when they ask for things from me: You think, just because you change your attitude, that I'm going to give you what you want? A prime example of this happening is usually with my mother. She does this . . . thing with her hands and fingers where she knits them together, trying to act innocent, and uses a sweet, disgusting voice, and it takes all of my will power not to smack the living **** out of her. I usually break her hands away from each other and tell her to get out.

People who try to 'convert' me in religion: I am not going to go to your church to worship some damned god I don't even believe in. Leave me the hell alone.

Nails on a chalkboard or any similar sound: It sets me on edge, it hurts my ears, it gives me a phantom pain in my teeth, it is just god-awful, and I want to throw my fork at my dad who likes to dig his fork into our ceramic plates just to annoy me.

People who can't handle themselves in bad situations: Seriously, calm down, breathe and keep your wits about you. Don't start crying, don't let them know that you're freaking out on the inside, make them believe that you're not scared. I feel like it's not that hard, and it's not understandable to me how people can't do it.

Outward weakness: This point has made a lot of people turn heads to glare at me, but considering many of my previous situations, I feel I have a bit of privilege to look down on people who wear their emotions on their sleeves. Since this point can bring up many debates, I'd rather not elaborate on my feelings towards people who are like this.

I have too many to actually list, being the deeply cynical and bitter person I am. Here's just a small sample:

    Mosquitoes
    My blood is apparently delicious.

    Dysfunctional computers
Computers have to work absolutely flawlessly or I'll want to slap them. This is really just a flaw of mine, but it still ticks me off.

    Bad drunks
The people who can't stand their liquour and end up bothering women, getting in fights, or becoming alcoholics. They give us well-mannered drunks who are only out to have a good time while feeling light-headed a bad name. On a related note, people who look down on drunk people who aren't doing anything wrong. Get off your high horse and get wasted with the rest of us, you pricks.

People who adamantly refuse to admit that they're wrong
Either they get me to doubt myself or they deny me the pleasure of being right for a change. Assholes.

    "Wait..."
Mainly because for some reason, the frequentcy of hearing this word rises exponentially with the urgency I need/want to be somewhere. I don't like the word in general, because it's seldom used in a positive sense. If I'm waiting, it means I don't have something I want yet. No one likes that. That makes some kind of sense, doesn't it?

    Gratuitous fancy language
They're not "utensils", they're tools. It's not "urban exploration", it's walking the fuck around town. Trying to sound smart is a good way to show people you aren't. Used to be very popular on KHV up to the point that I of all people started disliking the Discussion thread. Not because I didn't understand the words, but because the posts were becoming a pain to read. Things have lightened up here, fortunately.

    Dutchmen
It's a Belgian thing. I actually have a very mild stance by comparison; I'd even consider going out with a hot Dutch girl if she asked me really really really nicely, and paid for the drinks.

This'll be fun. Cynical Swede, coming way.

    "Oh my Gosh, you're Swedish?"
I get this a lot. I mean, I understand it really. I live in England and my English is good but I still have my accent (cause I mainly speak Swedish at home). So when people hear me, they ask where I'm from or they pin it straight off. Then comes all the questions about Sweden, because apparently I'm like the bank of knowledge. My Russian friend, Alecxe gets this a lot too. We do Graphics together.

    Any kind of #insertcrappyhipsterthinghere
LOL YOLO SWAG SINGLE GURL, no please knull av

    Slow walkers
When I was in Year Six (10 years old) and about a year after I moved to England I met this girl called Rachael. Since I was and still am noticeably shorter than most people, I had to walk three steps for every one of hers because she was lanky. We fell out and didn't talk much after Year Seven but since then, I walk fast. Slow people annoy me because I am faster than them and getting trapped behind them is very annoying. Especially when there's no way around them.

    When people get overly emotional
I really hate this, especially only over little things. Example, I told my friend I didn't want to give blood and she blew up in a fit of rage and sadness because she says that I could save someone's life and keep them going. Don't get me wrong, that bugs me slightly but I really just don't want to give blood. I hate needles and I get dizzy easily anyway so educing it more so isn't my top priority.

When people talk down to me
My big sister Freja does it all the time. I can't stand it and I occasionally just want to kick her head in or throw stuff at her. And it's not in the big sister to little brother way, but overlordly smartass to dumbass redneck. I have a lot of emotional turmoil thanks to it.

"Why do you listen to it when you can't understand it?"
A, it is either Finnish or Swedish. I am Swedish. I CAN UNDERSTAND BECAUSE I SPEAK THE LANGUAGE.
B, please don't go there all you hipster and scene people who listened to Gangnam Style and loved it even though it's Korean.
C, it's second nature. My Dad used to watch Initial D with me on his knee when I was a kid. I couldn't read the English subtitles or understand the Japanese language. I felt more comfortable like that anyway.

    Smelly people
To those who have watched or read Junji Ito's Gyo and know the death stench, I have had many experience with that kind of raw smell from people. One time I could barely breathe and had to filter through my jacket to breathe clear. It was horrid, especially because the latest time was on a tram and it was packed so I was crushed up against her.

    "Tidy your room"
It's a pet peeve because my Mama is a cleaning maniac (rengör vettvilling, someone help I had to use Google Translate then because I think that is the English). I have a untidy way of keeping things tidy and clean but she disagrees with me and then cleans for me so I can't find anything.

Hmm, it's really, really, really, strange but I seriously think that I don't have any pet peeves.

Sure, some things tick me off once in a while, but I somehow learn to get over it in many ways. I could see myself getting annoyed by people who talk during movies, but I try to at least understand where they are coming from and just accept that people are and should be naturally inclined to talk to others.

Again, there are some certain measures that can cross the line with me, but that line is hard to cross and even when I'm initially annoyed, it just tends to go away. I suppose that's what I get for being too open-minded. Eh, it's a flaw of mine, basically to sum it up.

    Pet Peeves:

When people tell me that I'm smart enough to be a doctor
This one gets on my nerves because well here's the thing: I tell people I plan on going into nursing school and getting a minor in Spanish and a minor in accounting. When I tell people that they turn to me to say,"Well, you're intelligent enough to get into medical school, why are going for a mediocre career?" (not in those words but you get the gist.) I have to explain to them that medical school is expensive and that plus, the school I'm going to, doesn't have a medical school (unless I wanted to be a dentist) so I'm just like, it's what I want to do. Yet they still think I'm wasting my time. But this is what I want to do, since it's my life. Plus, I have my insurance license so if I get my BNS I'll get to work for an insurance company if nursing doesn't work out.

When people scream down the hallway
I don't understand this one at all. It's like when someone screams at someone whose like fifteen feet away and you're standing next to the one who is screaming louder than a hungry baby. Ugh, how rude. Plus, it annoys me even more when they're phone is in their hand and they were just texting. Really? I think I lost some of my hearing because of that person.

When certain fans go to far and make the rest of us fans look bad
A few weeks ago, Niall Horan's brother was getting married. The wedding was crashed by a huge amount of fans who were only the ripe age of ten. I only like one direction for one thing: they have good music. That's my opinion, and I support it.....Now, if my mom found out what those ten year old girls did, why that wouldn't be pretty. There is a fine line between adoration and infatuation, to which those girls crossed it. But only to prove you're a directioner? That is just nuts. It's almost like the time there was a hoax that Justin Bieber had cancer and hundreds of fans shaved their hair off for him only to find out it was a hoax. It's just annoying how they've made t-shirts with phrases like 'so and so's wife' yet the girls are only the prime age of ten. I mean it's just an annoyance and it's getting out of control.....

When people repeat you then laugh
There's this girl in my history class who will repeat what I'm saying only she'll mimic then make fun of me. I think it''s pretty childish and it's like 'how old are you? four? yet you call yourself a senior in high school?', it's just rude and quite frankly it gets on my nerves to a point where it's annoying as a bird call in the morning. It's sad too when you think about it.

When people think they're better than you
Everyone has a talent. Some can sing, some can't. Others can act, while one could not. It's okay to know your talent and that it's your level of expertise, but when you think you're better than everybody else? It's an annoyance. Last year, this kid thought he was all that and a bag of cheetos. One day, after school while I was applying make up on him, he kept mocking me and told me that I wasn't worthy of putting on some blush on him (to which he believes to this day he is the next mozart despite the fact he can't put make up on correctly to save himself) so finally after that, I took a deep breath and told him to please be quiet or else I'll have Smiitle (the director/teacher in charge and knew I couldn't stand him) come in and work on him (which is something the actor's, even a big shot like him knew was a no-no) so he finally agreed. Then, when I was done, he still had the gall to go up to my supervisor and tell her that she needed to redo his make-up because I messed it up. Needless to say, I can't stand people like that. Arrogance is a pet peeve of mine, and those kinds of people irk me......But with this peeve, I've gotten better, even though I still have it.....

Reminds me of the time I found out that one of my favorite authors was an unabashed antisemite (Patricia Highsmith, if anyone's wondering). Things like this surprise me. It begs the question: should a person's prejudices invalidate their opinions on other topics? Yukio Mishima has long been hailed as one of the most important Japanese authors of the 20th century, but his writings tended towards misogyny. Does that mean we should disregard what else he had to say?

The answer is no, obviously. But I cannot deny that, knowing their prejudices -- I am a little more hesitant to trust them. My stance thus far has been as follows: so long as they do not allow their biases to show, I am willing to look past them.

...Why do you dislike Belgians, anyways? Do you have a legitimate reason, or is this something you recognize as being illogical? If it's the latter, I'm even further surprised. You seem like someone who would TERMINATE such an opinion before it threatened your credibility. I certainly did not expect you to fall victim to cultural biases.

Excuse me for projecting an image unto you, though. And sorry for hijacking a thread.

I feel the same way. Some of my own friends who I deemed highly intelligent happened to be racist to a fault (adding this last snippet because almost everyone's a teensy bit racist). It made me more skeptical to their other opinions, but not in such a way that it distracts me from the actual content of their arguments.

I don't dislike Belgians; I am Belgian. Dutchmen are people from The Netherlands, remember?
Anyway, that last point was more of a joke than anything else. Obviously I would date any girl if she fit the requirements and I fit hers, regardless of nationality.
On a vaguely related note, Dutch girls are on average more beautiful than Belgian girls, at least in my irrelevant opinion.

Dutchmen and Belgians have a rather...special relationship. Think of it as a sugary, light-hearted English vs Scots kind of thing. It's difficult to illustrate, but I'll try anyhow.
They are jealous of our beer, we are jealous of their sports achievements. We are jealous of their (usually) progressive policies and better traffic infrastructure, they are jealous of (most of) us knowing more languages. The Dutch can't stand our dialects, we can't stand their accent. They make jokes about us, we make jokes about them. They're often the same jokes in fact, just replace "Belgians" with "Dutchmen" and vice-versa and you're good to go when you cross the border.
Prejudices and clichés reign supreme. Belgians, according to Dutchmen, are prude and sore losers at their best and aggressive dumb hicks at their worst. Dutchmen, according to Belgians, are loud, arrogant, stingy horn dogs. Dutchmen think our tendency for self-depreciation is stupid (we prefer calling it modesty), Belgians think Dutchmen have a built-in need to be the center of attention wherever they go (they prefer to call it being sociable). All of that being said, it's usually all in good fun.

My stance is in fact mild by comparison. That part was true. There are Belgians who won't take anything seriously when it's said with a Dutch accent (and vice-versa). I am not one of those people, far from it.
But yes, I did sulk when The Netherlands had more gold medals after last year's Olympics than we did (even though The Netherlands spends good money on sports infrastructure, making it only natural). And yes, I did gloat when Belgium gave the Dutch football team a 2-4 beating (even though it was a friendly). I am being irrational on both accounts, but cut me some slack, why don't you?

You're forgiven, but I did expect you to notice the tongue-in-cheek tone of that post.

I've avoided this thread because i don't usually care enough to get constantly angered or hateful of a certain thing over time. I'll have one offs and that's not really a peeve to me. Not to mention

People who think they know things and talk about it:
This encompasses newspapers, politicians, my friends, people in discussion, my parents especially. Just anyone who does it and i hear it.
Talk about immigration, religion, politics, a set of people, a strike, a union, etc whatever but sound like an unbiased knowledgable person otherwise just admit you don't know. Sure you'll have an opinion, but don't believe in verything people tell you about something you know nothing about, be skeptical about news especially, please. I do this when I don't know a topic usually, i don't see the point in acting like a know it all if you don't know about the subject.

People who think aggression is a good first resort:
No. Last resort. Stop randomly wanting to punch people you maniacs.

    Manipulators:
Most of them. Because most are selfish and arrogant, not to mention clueless of their actions.
Those people who have sultry, silky words or demeanor and suck you in to listening to them or believing in them. They're basically lonely people who can't make friends and try to subvert that by controlling someone. Also, girls who tease guys with sexual stuff and don't follow through. It's despicable to use your body or words to manipulate someone and then reject them for no better reason then you got bored of them or found a new victim. Disastrous.

People who blindly defend their partner/spouse/etc:
"You tried to tempt him you *****, that's why he slept with you but he loves me. I'll effing gut you! Stay away from us!"
...Yeah, seen this too much in delusional girlfriends. It's idiotic and disrespectful to yourself if you never question your partner.

    The Gaming Community:
Whether it's COD fan boys, or people who complain about modern gaming, i'm sick to death of all this complaining and moaning about games. You'd think tha since these people play games for enjoyment they'd be more relaxed about the whole thing, or more willing to give things a wide birth, but nope. You've got people who stick to one genre and complain about the others, the fans who don't stop getting nostalgic and want to recapture that so complain when games are like that, people who complain about endings to games, people who complain about QTEs, people who complain that they don't like the characters (pick up a book, learn that's the point of half the characters in literature, to get yo emotional), those who don't like how they can get money in games so easily, how they're console they bought is better than the others... Seriously this list has near endless posibilities.
I'm not saying there aren't any problems, there are, what I hate is how you go about addressing them Gaming Community. Don't just say it's ****. Give valid reasons and better yet offer an alternative to the problem. If your so smart at seeing flaws, then you must be able to see ways to improve it right? I mean you know how to design games, write plots and characters, etc?

    EA:
Never really care about them, but since they acquired Bioware, holy **** if I don't think they're the worst big comlany in gaming. Seriously, the one rep of theirs I met barely looked at me when he handed out prizes and ****ed off as soon as. Just... EA, that's all you need to know before i rant on more.

    I have a few:

One is a squalling baby next to me when the parents have other places to sit and they just sit there trying to quiet the kid down instead of moving. Especially since it's considered "rude" to ask them to move somewhere else or get up and leave to another spot. Same for little kids throwing a tantrum without the parents removing the kids so they can just enjoy themselves outside while the kid is disrupting everyone else. Or they're running around causing chaos while the mom is just like: "Come here and I'll give you a cookie," or: "Please don't do that."

Another is when I go to work and I have something loading so I leave my computer on. I sometimes forget to close messenger but I put a busy status and say I'm at work. I only work four hours and I come back and there's fifteen messages from two people saying: "Hello..." "There's no such thing as work!!!" "Are you there?!" "Hello?!"

Pet Peeves (The Short List version):

    • Children of any sort crying.
    • When people keep asking me the same question.
    • When someone takes my drink by accident. How could you not know?
    • When people hate on something they know nothing about.
    • Being told to do something repeatedly, basically any statement repeated.
    • Cliffhangers. I hate it when people just cut off- . . . and you don't get to know what happens or what was going to be said.
