I own the PS3 and I'd say it's better for a couple reasons: Xboxlive needs P2P while PSN is F2P, Ps3 has WAY better graphics, has built in Blu-ray player, and expensive it is, it's worth it. Even my friends who has XBox 360s wants a PS3 XD

If you are a Final fantasy/Kingdom hearts fan, you should get more money and buy a PS3 :D

    I have to say the PS3. I have never touched a 360, but I've owned a PS3 for a year or 2 now.

The PS3 is free to go online, all you need is internet. And not that much lag at all for me, just the random moments my internet kicks me off like once or twice a week(That is my internet, not the PS3). The games on it are great, I love them. The graphics are awesome. The BluRay is also neat. You can save pictures, videos, and music on the PS3. It also offers you a bunch of memory. The lowest they have is 20 gig, and the last one I heard they released was 120 gig(I got the 80 gig, and right when I got it, they released the 120 gig >.>). The PS3 is the best console right now.

I thought I saw the last of that in 2006.

XBL is actually superior than PSN for download speed, amount of available content and quality of multiplayer servers. For such a quality service, $50 a year is a steal. Also, anyone with any interest in playing online shouldn't be stupid enough to play on any wireless network. Even the fastest ones are still a fraction of the speed of a wired network. It is cheaper and better to buy a 20-50 foot ethernet cable and connect with a wired connection no matter what console you're using.

Also, XBL Silver is free for those that want access to downloadable games and content, but don't care for online play.

Wireless routers don't require you to use a wireless connection.

Actually, the Arcade isn't as bad as people think. It comes with a memory card for game saves and can be upgraded into a Pro for by buying the 60 gigabyte harddrive which comes with everything the Pro comes with sans the XBox itself.

The Arcade's main purpose is for those who can't afford everything right off the bat. It is about the same price as the Pro in the long run and it lets you pace your spending more than spending US$300-US$400 immediately.

Take off the wireless router and 1 game and its US$460 at most.

Or US$400 for the console alone and US$460 for it and a game.

The Pro is US$360 for it and a game.

As someone who owns both a 360 and a PS3, I have to say this: They are about equal in terms of quality. They both have their fair share of exclusives, their respective online services have their ups and downs and you get what you pay for in both consoles.

Obviously XBL is superior to PSN, otherwise paying for it wouldn't make much sence.

At least you're listening. Really, the fee for XBL is minimal. If you take the US$50 a year and split it into 12 monthly payments it comes up to US$4.17 a month. Compared to the average pay to play MMO which generally cost US$13-US$15 a month for one game.

Ok I've owned both and the Ps3 is more awesome, has most of the good games, better graphics(useless in suckish games), more exclusives, better online, and M.A.G (Massive Action Game, it hasn't been released yet). And again, PS3 is more awesome.

Or rather someone who looks into the facts before posting blind praise for one thing with blind hatred of another thing?

I own an 80 gb PS3(someone didn't want it anymore, I got it for $250)

I have to say that I haven't played a lot of games on it. But, I have played a lot on the 360. My friend had one and I was always at his house hanging out and playing on the 360. Granted, it's a rip-off that you have to pay money to play live, it's really not a whole lot of money if you seriously want it. Game-wise, 360 has more and will undoubtedly have great games. It's not that hard of a fact to accept. But, the PS3 doesn't have a massive amount of sh*t games to lead up to the quality ones. I love Final Fantasy, but it's not the reason I bought my PS3. I bought it because it can store photos, music, you can download PS1 games and PSP games for it(I bought Spyro 2, Spyro 3, FF7[for my friend to get it on his PSP], and MGS1), and it has a built-in Bluray player. Not to mention it's backwards compatible. I like the connections it has so that if you also own a PSP, you can copy games from the PS3 to the PSP and have mobile PS3-like gaming. But, that's for people that own a PSP and PS3, so it's not a strong argument against how it's "better" than the 360. The free web browser is also a great specialty, but I don't use it, seeing as how I have a laptop with a wireless connection to the downstairs modem.

I know that sounds like I'm praising the PS3 and bashing the 360, but I'm not. They're both great consoles and each have their own specialties. 360 has the better online play, sans the minor fee($4.17 a month as stated earlier). PS3 has free online and *in my personal opinion* better exclusives.

Really, this is all a matter of personal opinion and the question shouldn't have been asked in the first place. Knowing the immaturity of *some* members, this was obvious to happen. People are angering each other over a video game console that they prefer over the other. How about people just state why they PREFER one over the other, rather than get pissy and defensive.

Good day and that is all.

I heard that Final Fantasy XIII was also going to be on Xbox 360... I don't know if that's true, and it is also hard to believe, but still...
