Playstation 3 or Xbox360?

I have a 360. It'd be great if it weren't always in my parent's room.
But I'd MUCH rather have a PS3. I've always been a Sony guy.

 

I saw in a online store a bundle with GTA4 and InFamous.

 

i had a 360 or the longest time, and in my short time with the ps3 i already like it better. even though the only game i have on it is soul calibur 4, which i already have and have beaten on the 360.
this also may be because the 360 doesn't get xbox live, as i get wifi..

Stop making up nonsense. You might like it, but Star Ocean 4 is considered as a truly mediocre addition to the series. You should check out other forums more often, rather than taking the word of 2-3 people.
Star Ocean 2 was just amazing, I still play it every now and then.
Heck, Star Ocean 3 is a decent game too.
But SO4 only added more flaws which its prequel already had.
If they ported the game to the PS3 and fixed most of the stuff, I would buy SO4. But honest to god, otherwise, the 360 can keep it.


I wouldn't mind Lost Odyssey though.

Right, because you have any clue how many forums I frequent. Its called a different opinion dumbass, just because it isn't the majority opinion doesn't mean it doesn't exist and isn't valid. Besides, I'm quite sure that a lot of people hated it entirely for being 360 exclusive instead of actually hating for it being a bad game.

Also, I hated Star Ocean 1 and Star Ocean 3.

Have you noticed that there have far fewer reports of the red ring of death in the last year or so? If not, you really ought to do some research on the hardware revisions that were put in place that significantly reduced the failure rate. Yes, it still happens and yes, it is in a disproportionate amount of failures compared to the competition, but it is no where near the 30% failure rate it was before and is in fact, mostly a non-issue now.

 

I think it's a tie really. They both have a great selection of games.

My only vice with the 360 is I DO NOT WANT TO PAY 50 DOLLARS TO PLAY ONLINE! UGH!

 

US$50 a year and a month is equivlent to US$3.84 a month. Seriously, is $4 a month so much that its actually an arguable point against the XBox? At least you don't need a credit card like you did before the 360 came out. Besides, you don't have to pay a penny if you only want to download content and demos.

 

It's not a major issue, but Sony doesn't make you pay, so um... I'd rather take free over 4 dollars a month.

 

And you are aware that, while still not bad, PSN isn't as good as XBL, right?

I own both. I even have an Xbx360 Elite. I have to say the PS3 is the better system in terms of graphics, games, and features, but I regret getting either system because my dad won't let me put the PS2 back in the living room since we have a PS3. The 40g PS3 desn't play PS2 games. So if you're buying a PS3, save up an extra $200 and get the 80g. Otherwise don't get either. If you like the games on the 360 better then get that, but... ehh.
