that's pretty cool. i like that you can stream the games everywhere. and it's an ok substitution for no backwards compatibility on PS4.

Sony says: We REALLY want you to buy a PSVita!

This is nice, but I won't be getting this till I'm guessing the end of this year or next. Shame. But like the PS4, the Americans are testing it out for us! : p

I'll wait till they release a catalog of some sort. I really like the idea but I can get PS3 games cheaply enough so I would be interested in their PS1 and PS2 games.

Would you be able to play PS1/2/3 games that you already own, or would you have to rebuy them from PSN?

One thing I wish to know is if it's part of PS+ subscription. If it's not, I very much doubt i'd get it, purely from the cost side of things. Like Kitty, I could buy the PS3 games I don't have and want at a cheaper price than the service (if it costs extra) more than likely.

I could see Sony introducing a subscription of the two services as one but I couldn't really see them giving it to PS+ for free. Maybe a trial for PS+ users.

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of streaming entire games in general. It sounds good but I'm skeptical whether or not the service will perform well. High fame rate games are gonna suffer from lag (especially games were you need that immediate reaction, there's gonna be a noticeable delay) and there's always the chance you could get disconnected or their servers go down. That won't be so bad if there was a way to later resume where you got cut off but it'd still be annoying.

I'm sure it will be a good service at some point but I'll hold off for some time till the service matures.

Again, we'll learn more as the North Americans test it, and its viability on our networks too.

I'd like at least a discount if you're a PS+ member. If it's like their movie rental services then I'd like 30% off or something at the least. A trial i'm not sure, if they compete to Netflix and their streaming services than a month free would be a good starter.

I understand the worry, OnLive was a terrible service in the end, so game streaming is for sure a concern. But I think Sony's dedication to this service attests they are trying to make it a mainstream way to play. If PS4 Remote play is anything to go by, it'll work out better for some and not others, but definitely nice in the end.

It almost has to be the latter. It sounds like this won't work with disc-based games, unless I'm misunderstanding something.

Agreed. As much as the current subscription is an improvement over the Beta period of renting individual titles, I really just want to keep most games.
