    How, oh how, too feel,
Your silken skin, that tell no lies
Oh, the beat of my heart,
    Speeding up fast,
Like the feeling of my blood, overwhelming,
    Oh, it's swelling, oh

    Oh, how does it feel?
Flesh to flesh, face to face,
    Ruby red lips, sparkling eyes,
    Fingers never felt such delight,
On this dark and starry night,

Like the smell of a rose,
    Touch on my spine,
That lustful look in your big bluey eyes,
Can only be described as love,
    Love, Love, Love...
On the wings of a feather dove,

    Oh, how it feels...

The best place to find magic
    You can find magic here.
    You can find magic there.
    You can find magic everywhere.
But there is one really simple place you can find magic.

When you see a beautiful lake filled with wonderful creatures.
The magic doesn't come from the lake it comes from a simple yet complex organ.
The ONE place that makes so many things seem like magic.
It is in you chest, a little thing called the heart.

    Making things magic.
Making a flying bird soar gracefully.
One thing is needed from the brain.
All you have to do is beleive

My entry for this month. I hope its not TOO sucky. EDIT. Woot first entry!!!!!!

    What is magic?

    What is magic?
Some say it is a power
A power you can weave and cast into
    Ice, fire, water, life.

    Some say magic isn’t real.
That magic is made by a man.
Dressed in amaranthine and with a pale mask
he spreads awe and stupidity to the gullible.

Some say it is the things around us.
Not what comes out of a wand.
    Tranquil nights, chirping birds
    Rustling trees, bubbling rivers.

You ask me what is magic?
    Magic is you.
Your eyes, your heart, your kiss,
Magic is that to me, nothing else.

    i don't live...
    i won?....
unbelievable... there were so many much better poems than mine...
it's....unfair...i thought up mine in just a few seconds...mine isn't good!! i suck!!

    but....may i make a poem here too?

    i should'nt have won before....

a wizards life is never calm, full of hatred from his palm,
his life will wither as a flower, as the plebians cower,
his hands they call out fires red, all the trees it will shed,
his pathway freezes by his feet, nature cries for their heat,
the eyes of destruction, mighty thunder, rips our lands yet asunder,
the land it trembles as we whisper, the mage he comes, no limp, no lisper,
but what magic does he really posses? a weapon for tellus's mess?
no, i disbelive he found his love, yet he seeks like bread for dove,
will he find his true bueaty yet at all?
''never' they say, he's just a doll.
a puppet created by sinfull master, a shadow, a pawn, a servant caster.
i wonder why he created, was his purpose to be hated?
    i only know one thing....
magic cannot solve a thing, i love you... it will not ping,
    please...return to us...
    i still love you...

    lalala!! this one sucked...
    now i can't win ahahaha!!!

    thank you sir...
    and you to sir chev...
but i don't deserve any credit...there were far better poems out there than mine...

    The Parrot

[IMG]A bird flew upon a tree
    So young and spree
His feathers as colorful as ever
His wings seem to spread forever and ever

He dwells upon the tree waiting for the dew
For the dew brings new opportunities
    He perched upon the tree
As the opportunity raised for the ground

He ate in delight as the sun began to rise
Through the giant thick blue sky
    Shining upon the land
Destroying darkness where ever it land

    Where the Simple Man lives.
    "Know This"

(M)They dwell within our fear; (F)Yours and mine
(M)Keeping our eyes ever near; (F)To death unto the shine
(M)Dwelling within our every ear; (F)To keep the keeper so far and near
(M)Keeping our wings tucked and clear; (F)Let the rain shine on our fear

Realizing this, we know the call
Making the darkness our humbled wall

So know this well, they will not qwell their dying spell
Keeping these words that cannot be swelled

And thus makes the light impracticable

    So turn back now
    Turn back for your reasons

But remember to shun the light upon the deceivers
And destroy the hate that fills us with believers

So make this known loud and clear:

    Turn away their gentle call
And sing with me in Destinies Hall

    So I hope you understand
That Fear and Tremble are essential, in this lonesome land.

Magic is that feeling, when you see her in your dwelling
Magic is that fun, that is always in the sun

Do as you wish that you want with your lover
Do as you want with that kid in the fun

I left the lines long ago
    Waiting for you to show

"Why didn't you stay?" she asked me a time forgotten
"Why did you take you time?!" I yelled it to her eyes

    Learn to grow with it
    Or forget to know it

    The ultimate question

    The simple reason

    My face grew with treason

    When she left without warning

    Stopping me dead
I simply said "What in the world...is she dead?"

    So now you know
    That magic never grows
    It only shows
    That they all die alone.

    don't turn around
Hearts are pure love and suicide.
So what if I can't give it to you?
I'm down to my last shot.
I can send it through my bleeding heart
or waste it on poor you.
    Either way, one of us
    Will die in my hands.

    My burning desire no longer
needs you to fuel the fire.
My anger is all I need
Before the explosion comes with a shot

    and I'm dead
    But not dead yet.
    Bleeding rainbows and butterflies
    is not death
    But the magic comes from
    your hating love.

I would just like to point out one thing, members who cannot handle it when they do not win should not be posting. Instead of getting butthurt that you didn't win, show some grace, congratulate the winner and move on.

Coming to me complaining or sending me messages saying you think it was unfair will not be listened to.

    There is always another contest.

That being said, good luck my loves, you know I like all of your work all of you :/ I wish you would stop thinking it means you are a bad poet if you don't win, because in my honest opinion you all have a great deal of talent which I have had the pleasure of watching develop over the past few months :/

I know this sounds corny after what CtR just said, but well done HoD x3

The idea of writing a poem about magic bothers me... but.. I'll give it my best shot :3

    I didn't believe.
Those lies that you showed me.
Those lies that you told me
    Day after day.
    You said it was magic
    A conjured up dream,
    One flick of your hand
    And reality, it seems
    Would split, in two,
Like the shattered glass you threw,
    That pierced our love,
How could I have fallen for you?
    It was lies, all lies,
That crooked smile and the flowers you sent,
    Lilies, were they?
The flower of death, how fitting.
So go whisk up some fairies,
    A white rabbit or two,
Create a fuss, all the magic you like.
It won't work on me, that much is true.

Lol I don't think thats very good. All my poems seem to be about love recently O.O

I had to write this on a napkin since I had no paper with me. Kinda short.

    Magic, flowing through the air
Wide as an ocean or thin as a hair
It rides with the wind, only stopping when desired
Soaring through the world and above the tallest spires
It can't be caught, it can't be seen
It's all around us, dancing with glee
We can't believe in the things we can't see
But it's always been there, always been free
Formed from nothing, it was made to deceive
It will only appear to those who believe

    Moe, Victoria
    Real Glamor
    So real
    A forthright, honest, truth
    So wonderful
    A quiet, tranquil, halcyon
    So bizarre
    A fractured, disparate, isle
    So chimerical
    A blended, beaten, uniformity
    So glamorous
    A subversive, mendacious, lie

This is a half-- eh probably more like quarter assed attempt at this strange "poetry". It' seriously about magic fyi, I do follow the rules no matter how badly my finished product end up.
