So who's the gym leader for viridian then?

 

Blue is still Viridian's Gym Leader. Red is still at the top of Mt. Silver.

 

Ok..I'm going to say right now I was a tad lazy and didn't read the whole thread (because 31 is a lot to me), but what's the Pokewalker thing do? I found SS on eBay new in the box with the Pokewalker in the box. I'm guessing it's like what the Pikachu pet things were like in which things happened to the Pokemon as you walked with them, but I haven't heard of this before.

 

The Poke'walker is a portable device that you can transfer pokemon from HG and SS onto.
Once the pokemon is on the walker, as you walk, the pokemon gains happiness, items, experience points, and other rare encounters I believe.

It looks very interesting.

 

The PokeWalker is a pedometer that comes with HeartGold and SoulSilver. You get to upload a pokemon from it and put it in there, and it levels up as you walk around with the pedometer on you.

Blue and Red are actually the manga characters. The proof is that Blue's name is Green in the Japanese version, just like the manga. Oh, and they look far more like their manga counterparts than their anime ones.

 

Ahhh...

I like that. Maybe I can disguise it as a regular pedometer so no one will question me. But then I wouldn't have to worry about taking so many steps before an egg hatched (or I'd at least get something out of walking around so much).

 

One of the interesting things about the pedometer is that you can actually run into wild pokemon with it. So you're walking down the hall in school and OHSHI- a wild Rattata appears. Brilliant.

 

or you can trick the pedometer by shaking it but it's good to exercise.

I've got a question about this though..well actually 3 but is the glitch still in the series where you give the starter a pokeball to hold then reset two times saving at elm's lab which would cause you to have all 3

Is there a certain item to have to start the jagged ear pichu event?

is it in platinum or ss/hg that I go somewhere to get the legendary egg? if so where?

 

I believe they would have removed such a glitch, but it may still be possible

You need to have the Pikachu-Colored Pichu, which will come out in an event

As for number three, I don't understand what you mean by Legendary Egg?

The event in which you can get either Palkia, Dialga or Giratina at Level 1, you would need to take the Level 100 Event Arceus to the Ruins of Alph, which will open up the Shinto Ruins, and Cynthia will be there to tell you that Arceus will allow yo to create your own Level One Legendary Sinnoh Dragons.

Awesome, I loved Gold & Silver. Can't wait for it to be released in Europe. If only they let the Ash battle in.

 

Red is still present in the game. I imagine he is hiding out at Mount Silver, but don't quote me on that.

 

I can't wait for it. My first Pokemon game was Crystal version so i think i will like these games.

Does anyone know any good emulation settings on no$gba for PKMN SS? I had a really good settings going, but for some reason now it just sucks with them. -shrugs-

 

I probably can't help considering I can't seem to get past the start when your character shrinks, but what are your current settings?​

 

Emulation speed: realtime, auto
Reset/startup entrypoint: start cartridge directly
video outpoot: 24 bit true
3D render: nocash (I would use OPENGL but for some reason my comp just fails at it, despite my computer having great specs)
gba mode: VGA poppy bright
gba cartridge backup media: auto
nds cartridge backup media: flash 512 kb
solar sensor level: bright sunlight
multiboot normal/burstdelays: medium/medium [stable]

Everything else is default.

You could increase the speed by 1.5, or 2x. Mine goes slow at random times, either way, but you probably have a better computer. :v
