Giratina is such a pain in the ass. I've got it down to about 1 hp with my lvl 53 Almia Darkrai, and I've lost count on how many Dusk Balls I've thrown. I've had a couple close ones, but it just keeps breaking free. And I can't put it to sleep with Dark Void again, because Darkrai's ability would just make it faint.

    EDIT:
And I just now caught it.

Like Marriland said. It's dificult..And annoying.I didn't have too much of a hard time.I put it to sleep and used about 12 dusk balls. That's what I did.

I tried to catch him, but I didn't stock up on Pokeballs.

So I just used the Master Ball to get Giratina.

Well...like Azure Flame said.I"m saving my masterball for the lvl 1 Regigigas....sweet.

Tomorrow I'm gonna go catch Dialga and Palkia. Then get the Griseous Orb and find the 3 birds..you know all the legendaries.

Because he's the hardest pokemon to catch in the game. That's what they say.You have to weaken him without knocking him out.

Plus his catch rate is the same as the lvl 70 one in D/P, making it really hard to catch. And you need all 3 Regi's with you.

It's Catch Rate is only 3. Just Like Arceus, Darkrai, and whoever else.

Right, meaning it's really hard to catch. The higher the catch rate, the easier it is to catch. But what makes it harder than Arceus and Darkrai is that it's only level 1, the lowest level in the game.

With a catch rate that low..

All I gotta say is bull****!!

That's a damn low catch rate.Jeez...But..you will eventually catch it.So no worries. But that catch rate increases if you use a higher grade pokeball.

Which is why it recommends you to use level 3-4s.

Yeah, but I think the highest is with a Timer Ball after a really long battle, because I think it gets up you 4x the catch rate. Meaning, at best, it would be a catch rate of 12. With a Dusk Ball it would only be 9. Ultra Ball would be 6, Great Ball would be 4.5.

Probably just be 3, because it is the worst.

    It goes like this.
    Pokeball-1x catch rate
    Great Ball-1.5x catch rate
    Ultra Ball-2x catch rate
Dusk Ball-4x catch rate only at night, in caves, or the Distortion World
Quick Ball-catch rate decreases every 5 turns
Timer Ball-catch rate increases every 10 turns
Repeat Ball-3x catch rate if you already have a Pokemon of the same breed
Luxury Ball-1x catch rate (raised Pokemon's happiness once caught)
Heal Ball-1x catch rate (heals Pokemon and cures any status problem when they are caught)
Dive Ball-3.5x catch rate if underwater
    Master Ball-Never fails
Nest Ball-higher catch rate if Pokemon is at a low level
Net Ball-3x catch rate for Bug or Water Pokemon
Park Ball-Never fails on Pal Park Pokemon (only used in Pal Park)
    Premier Ball-1x catch rate
Safari Ball-1.5x catch rate (only used in the Great Marsh)
Cherish Ball-1x catch rate (Unobtainable. Only on certain event Pokemon.)

    Info from Serebii.Net.

So, I was wrong about the Dusk Ball.

    lol... here you go:
The PokeRadar is incredibly handy. Funny how it's function is specifically to help you find the roaming legendaries? XD
