Pokemon: The National Journey

"If that's what you want to do", Leon answered, "I'm not concerned if either of you choose to go through the route at night instead". Thinking that many trainers of merit came from Pallet Town he got the feeling the surrounding Pokemon weren't as strong as those in the wild near Blackthorn, the only place anyone could level up a Pokemon in Blackthorn was the Dragon Den.

 

OOC:Alrighty then.
BIC: VEL checked her pokenav to see where they were. "Lets see, Route 1.... We could head to the Veridian Forest. A whole lot of bug pokemon there from what I heard."Valerie said. "Pikaaaa..."Static pointed to Valeris partners. "I know, I know. I won't leave them behind."Valerie said.

 

"I don't really care either way, Flashfire and I walked here for the most part, so the night doesn't scare us. Though I would think it's best that we don't leave Rayku behind...wherever he is."
Looking out at Route 1, Akane continued, "Besides, the Pokemon around here aren't that strong anyway, and not many are out at night. If we want to level up our Pokemon early, the best time would be to do it in the day," she finished, and patted the Dratini's head.

 

"Good point", Leon said, "We should go see if we can spend the night in someone's house or the Professor's lab". Leon looked around, the town was larger than he was told but he didn't know where they could stay.

 

"I suppose we could ask the Professor...I just hope he wouldn't mind us too much," Akane said, and called Flashfire back to her.
"And where did Rayku go? I haven't seen him or his Totodile for hours..."

 

"Oh it's a Hoothoot....." Jordan sighed. "Queendra use Bubble then Water gun."

Queendra shot Bubbles around Hoothoot which made it cover it's eyes from the Bubbles that splshed in it's eyes then when it opened it's eyes all it saw was Queendra shooting a powerful Water Gun at it, OKing it. Queendra said "Horsea!" in glee of beating it.

"I'm a Water Pokemon trainer, it's a trait from my city. I plan to live up to with the Best Water Pokemon team ever!" Jordan explained to his group after they got there pokemon. "So I'll just keep battling other typers of Pokemon till I find a Water one. Right Queendra?"

"Horsea! Sea!" Queendra said as she jumped onto his shoulder.

 

OOC: If anyone needs to know the move list of their Pokemon and the levels they can use those abilities at then go on Bulbapedia and search your Pokemon out then just scroll down to a move list.

 

OOC: Damn this is way too fast.

Dean looked to their new member of the group as the team seemed to eb catching wild pokemon left and right.

"Guess we ought to get a new partner eh Charmander?" He asked his pokemon and Charmander nodded as Dean wandered in the grass alongside his pokemon until.

WILD ENCOUNTER!

 

OOC: Wild Pulsle (Level 2, male) appeared!

 

As his Eevee was playing with the other pokemon, Etrian decided he should get to know everybody better. "So both of you are from Lavender Town, that's pretty cool," Etrian said. "My hometown is all the way in Johto, maybe you've heard of it. It's called Ecruteak City. We're known for the Tin and Brass Tower." Etrian was so happy that he was making some new friends. "So I think we should head out now. It looks like all the other groups are ahead of us and I don't like losing so let's catch up!"

 

Dean stared the Plusle. "Well then Charmander, let's go!" Dean said as CHarmander ran out in front of Dean getting into battle stance as the Plusle stared calmly at Charmander.

"Let's go Charmander! Scratch Attack!" Dean called out and Charmander lunged at Plusle with it's claws, scratching it as Plusle growled then Charmander stepped back as he was caught off guard. "It's okay Charmander, show him what you got, one last Scratch attack!" he called out and Chamander complied as he leapt forward to scratch Plusle again.

"Pokeball, go!" Dean said loudly as he threw the small red and white pokeballl and it hit Plusle, leaving it in a daze as red light engulfed it's form and sucked it inside as the pokeball shook with the light flashing as it shook once.

"Come on..." Dean Said as it shook ocne more and Charmander waited eagerly and then it shook once more and the red light vanishied as Dean walked up to it and picked the pokeball up.

"All right, we caught Plusle!" He said happily and Charmander smiled and jumped, happy it now has a new friend to talk and travel with. "And it's thanks to you buddy." he said as he rubbed Charmander's head a bit as Charmander loved the treatment.

 

Yeah We Really Need to Catch up Komaeno Said Histerically Happy. I Don't Like to Be In Last Place Either Komaeno Put Vulpix Back In His Shoulder as he was ready to Head Out of Pallet Town.

 

Terry stood up and put Blaze on his shoulder.He clenched his fist.The thought of going farther into the Kanto region made his eyes light up with fire.He jumped in the air with a smile and began to yell."Come on guys lets head out to Viridian City!!!"Terry shouted.Blaze squeaked in excitment.

 

Dean looked at Terry who was just bursting with excitement as he chuckled.

"All right, all right Terry, control yourself. I'm sure it won't be far." Dean said to him as Charmander nodded.

 

Mage was silently patrolling ahead, keeping on the route for Veridian city. She heard rustling in the bushes, to which she scoped out, Strawberry mused to herself some poke-language. Mage, wide-eyed, also having one eye open, saw a new pokemon to catch.

BIC: Natsu looked around "Oh goddamn it I was late and missed my group how am I suppose to find them now!?" Natsu sighed, "Well if their out in the wild I might as well look around there" Natsu walks into route 1.

 

Valerie was looking at Static and Barry. "Furret!"Barry appeared to know Scratch, Foresight, and Defense Curl. "Alright, lets get back to the others."Valerie put Static and Barry in their pokeballs and went to regroup with her partners.

OOC: By the way, Are we gonna have to get an eevee like we did in the games? (Fire Red and Leaf Green you find an eevee at the that tall building in Celadon, In the Jhoto Games-except for Heart Gold and Soul Silverr cause I don;'t know about those 2 games yet- you get an eevee from Bill... in Diamond and Pearl Bebe gives you an eevee for getting national mode of your pokedex, etcetera etcetera...)

I'm just curious because I really want to TRY and get an eevee in my party. In most of the pokemon games I got I had an eevee in my party.
Of course if not then thats okay too....:3

 

"not bad Nidoran" Seth said as Nidoran looked up at Seth and smiled "and congratulations on your first captured pokemon" Seth said to Valarie as she walked up to him but he didnt turn to face her

OOC: what about items like evolution stones? how do we get them? do we just find them on the floor

 

Mage sighed, Strawberry tackling the Poocheyna.
Mage quickly took out a pokeball, waiting for the right time to throw as Strawberry continuously went head-on tackling the Poocheyna. The Poocheyna kept fighting back, howling to keep up his strength, while Strawberry attacked more.
Eventually Mage hit the Poocheyna with her pokeball, baseball throwing style, to which it hit him square on the head, and caught him with some difficulty.
