Pokemon: The National Journey

OOC:and what about Legendaries? Are we going to be able to catch legendaries?...of course now that you mention it's a bad idea to catch a legendary. Scratch my 'legendary pokemon' question!XD

 

OOC: Nope, Eevee was a starter instead. Though, I may work a few more Eevees into the RP at times.

And evolutionary stones can be found at places like the Bug Catching Contest (if we get that far) and a few in certain places. I might have items that can't be bought in shops be a prize for defeating Gym Leaders as well instead of TMs.

EDIT: And if we get far enough and conditions are met, legendaries might become available, but it'll be a more controlled fight just doing False Swipe, Hypnosis and throwing a single Dusk Ball doesn't catch it instantly.

 

OOC:OOOH, I like the idea.
Of course, as much as I'd love a Raichu I have a feeling I won't be getting one for a long time.... I already got an HM slave(jk) for Cut and Surf....wait we can get HMs and stuff like that, right? Or do we have it like in the anime where they take boats to get acroos waters?

 

OCC:so what about our stats like exp and lvls cuz i think im the only one who defeated a pokemone instead of catching it

 

"I'm not sure, though we should either move onto Route 1 or ask the professor if we can spend the night as we've fallen behind with preparations", Leon recommended, tagging onto what Akane had previously said. Flashfire was still nudging his leg but he became oddly oblivious to it quickly.

OOC: We're gonna be using HMs but not TMs unless you want them later on at a department store. I'm going to use some of the current and old HMs though so we'll probably have about 10 instead of the current 8 xD

OOC: I'm still working on a formula for exp and stats, I'll have one shortly though. Any exp you should have gained will be added anyway.

 

OOC:Okay Then I know I now have an HM slave for Cut and Surf with my new Furret.XD
Then there's Rock Smash, Rock Climb, Strength, Fly, Waterfall, Dive....Oh! And Flash and Whirlpool....I think that was all the HMs in through the generations....right?XD

 

OOC: We'll be using these:

HM01: Cut
HM02: Fly
HM03: Surf
HM04: Strength
HM05: Flash
HM06: Whirlpool
HM07: Waterfall
HM08: Rock Smash
HM09: Defog
HM10: Rock Climb

 

"Hm...maybe we should just move onto Route 1? There's no other way to get out of Pallet, so if Rayku comes our way, we'll see him," Akane said.
Flashfire was growing bored of just nudging Leon's leg, so she decided to nibble at his pants leg.

OOC: As of HG/SS, Flash is no longer an HM. So I don't know how that'd work.
EDIT: ...Nevermind. xD

 

"That does make sense. We should head into there then", Leon agreed looking down at Flashfire. "Could you tell your Houndour to get off my pants? In case she rips them", he asked as his Dratini wiggled it's way back over to Leon.

 

OOC:Okay so No Dive. alright....Okay, curiousity settled down.
BIC: "Jordan! Seth!"Valerie was looking around the grass for her partners when suddenly a pokemon jumped out of the grass in a surprise attack.

OOC: Wild Hoothoot (Level 2, male) appeared!

 

Seth walked over to where Valarie was and crossed his arms "now lets see how good she is" Seth said quietly to NIdoran

 

Terry and Blaze walked around the area in a lost way.They scanned their area for their friends but could barely see a thing."Ah man Blaze I think we're lost."Terry said in a mopey tone.Blaze squeaked in agreement.Just then they looked behind themselves and saw a figure come out of the shadows.

"WILD ENCOUNTER"

 

"A HootHoot? Psh, this'll be too easy. C'mon Static!"Valerie summoned Static from her pokeball. Static looked at the Hoothoot, smiling. "pika!" "Used Thundershock, Static!"Valerie said. Static charged up for a thundershock. and one zap with thundershock...and well, the HootHoot was seeing stars. "Hehe, I'll call on you if we run into any more flying or any water types."Valerie said. "Pika!"Static nodded.

 

Seth sighed wanting to see a good battle but forgot that she had a pikachu. Seth then noticed the grass begin to rustle "our turn Nidoran" Seth said

Valerie noticed Seth busy with a battle. "You think we should look for Jordan while he's busy?"she whispered. "Chu."Static nodded.

 

Mage, calling out her Poocheyna, she went along, Strawberry and her new friend by their side. With Poocheyna scouting ahead, she easily tracked Terry.

 

OOC: Wild Hoothoot (Level 3, female) appeared!

OOC: Wild Plusle (Level 4, female) appeared!

 

"lets test our strength. Use peck" Seth said as Nidoran obeyed and pecked Plusle. The plusle got hit by the not very effective attack and shook it off and used growl on Nidoran. "once more peck" Seth said as Nidoran pecked it again. Seth then smiled as she noticed the Plusle got poisoned by Nidoran's poison point ability. "peck" Seth said as Nidoran hit it with peck once more. The plusle used growl once more but the poison status made it lose it's strength and faint

 

OCC: uh where is everyone right now I started the RP late D:
BIC: Natsu looked around for his Group, he took a break on a rock. "Boy this is getting harsh huh Magnemite?" "magnemit-" Magnemite looked at a Shadow in the Tree.
