Pokemon: The National Journey

OOC:*bangs on head*I've been playing my gameboy so much I'm starting to hear game music when its not even on.x.x;
BIC:"So guys, on to Veridiant City?"Valerie asked.

 

"Kind of, it's more like they are all stiff", Leon added, "Goldenrod sounds like a useful place to live though, all those shops".

 

"yeah let's go" Seth said walking towards where he last saw Jordan. "don't slow me down" Seth said as he walked

 

Natsu looked at Valerie "Where is Veridiant City?"

BIC:Valerie followed, putting Static in her pokeball.

 

"But it's in the mountains, right? It must be really nice up there..." Akane said. Sighing slightly, she continued, "I guess so, but the main shop is the Department Store, and they don't even have evolution stones. Heck, even their prices are kind of high. Aside from that...there's the bike shop, and that stuff is way too expensive."

As they walked through the grass, Akane heard a noise. Flashfire stopped walking, and barked.

Wild Encounter​

 

"I suppose our homes have uses", Leon said before they stopped and Akane was forced to battle a wild Pokemon with Flashfire. Leon and his Dratini stood back and observed.

OOC: Wild Minun (Level 4, female) appeared!

 

Natsu did the Same and put Magnemite into his Pokeball "Wait up!" he ran after Seth and Valerie

 

"So, what are your home towns like?"Valerie asked, arms behind her head.

 

"Yeah, and we'll be visiting each other's homes somewhere on this journey, I expect," Akane replied.

She then turned her attention back to the Minun that had appeared. Looking down at Flashfire, who was growling lightly, she said, "Alright Flashfire, go, use Ember!" The Houndour's attack missed at first, but when the Minun stopped to use Growl, Flashfire attacked again and damaged it. The Minun was almost fainted. Akane said, "Good job, now finish it with another Ember."
Flashfire attacked it once more, and the Minun fainted. The little Houndour gave a small victory howl, then trotted back to Akane to recieve praise.

 

"G-g-good..." Natsu Starts to Sweat "and lets leave it at that"

 

"Hmm? Why are you nervous? I'm just curious."Valerie said. "My home town is great. I used to watch the fisherman trying to get a good catch. It was actually pretty funny."she said.

 

Natsu Frowned "If I had to remember one of those days in Olivine City I'd remember them" Natsu Shudders

 

"Alright, Alright. I'll leave it at that. When I was in Pokemon School, Lt. Surge came over some times with his Raichu to teach us about electric types. It was sooo cool."Valerie said. Statics cheeks sparked a bit. "Oh, don't worry. I doubt I'll ever get a thunderston to evolve you."Valerie chuckled.

 

((OOC: I know this is sort of bunnying. But my group is like, way behind, and it makes no sense to not bring them into the present moment)).

Colt and his team had ended up traveling some time into the night after their depatrture. Not to say of course, that they hadn't made that much headway in their journey due to a later start, but they were still considerably behind the others by the time night had swallowed the day whole. Colt wasn’t sure about his company, but he had never felt more awake then that first night; and while he assumed Kaneano and Etrian to be asleep for the night, he had spent his night staring at the moon, just pondering whatever happened to come to mind. Maybe I should just say something to them. It’s not like it’s a bad thing; though I would like them to know why I’m always so… well, why I might get into acting the leader a lot.

Somewhere within it all, he had lapsed out of it, and the sun had made its first peek up over the hills, seeping in through the shade under the tree they had camped under. “Wow!” he said, finding emotion for the first time in the passed few days. “That was the shortest night I’ve ever gone through. And now I get to operate on a second wind for the day.” He looked around his isolated space and called out for Daemon. The Ghastly, obedient to its master’s wishes, can into visibility at his side. It gave no attempt to make him laugh, mostly because it could tell that he was content at the moment. “Well,” Colt said to his friend, “let’s go make our team grow. I bet the grasslands over there have some new friends for us.”

Daemon, pleased by the plan, followed Colt into a patch of knee-high grass. It didn’t take long for something to run into the pair…. ((WILD ENCOUTNER... I'm allowed to call one, just not the pokemon, right?))

 

OOC: Figured I'd say this now in case I forget tomorrow morning, but I'll be gone for two or three days, I'm gonna be in the city and visiting a college. Fayt, you can control Akane & Flashfire if you'd like.

 

Dean and Charmander soon found Mage and Terry to regroup. "Oh there you guys are, I thought I lost you again." He said to them as Charmander stood behind him.

 

ooc: Sorry I haven't been on! My Spring Break is so full xD

Jordan and Queendra came running after there group. There finally caught up to them. "Sorry me and Queendra were looking for some lakes or a small pond so we could some Water Pokemon. No luck though....."

"Horsea...." was all Queendra said looking sad.

"So, on to Veridian City!" he said with a proud voice as they walked onward.

 

Seth walked with the other towards Viridian City "Viridian city is my hometown" Seth said as he walked ahead of the group knowing exactly where to go

 

"So Jordan, whats it like in Cerulean City? Whats the gym leader like?"Valerie was starting to try and get to know her partners. Static just went back in her pokeball on her own. Then Valerie heard Seth. "You're from Veridian City?! Cool!"she said, excited.
