"Then I'll guess I'll repay the favor when we get to Vermilion!"Valerie said, smiling. "So Seth, whats the gym leader like in Veridian...?"Valerie asked, alittle curious. She's heard about most of the gym leaders in trainer school, except for the one in Veridian City.

 

"I consider him the strongest gym leader in Kanto. Unlike most gym leaders Blue doesn't focus on one type only and was even a champion at one time but lost the title right away. He's usually not at the gym and loves to travel and pretty cocky" Seth said remembering his time helping Blue out in the Viridian gym ever since he got the job as a gym leader

I thought Giovanni was the Gym Leader....at least he was in the games I played._.;

Okay, now I really gotta start playing the old games now.XD

 

OOC: Twilightblader, your character is 10 years old and a new trainer, he wouldn't of been able to help Blue.

and in Silver/Gold/Crystal and Heart Gold/Soul Silver you go to Kanto after beating the League and Blue has taken over Giovanni's place as the gym leader.

BIC: "Oooh....He sounds like a very good pokemon trainer..."Valerie said.

 

"yeah Viridian city is the city where new trains pass by and later on return as skilled trainers to gain their last badge so thety can challenge the elite four and the Champion" Seth said

 

((Just an observation, but it seems like the team traveling method tends to work in favor of some teams more so than others)).

 

OOC: That it does. I arranged the teams thinking that the people would work well with each other and would be semi-active. Looks like I made a mistake somewhere.

BIC: Leon had observed the battle Akane had just been in, he got the general idea of what that Pokemon was. The two of them moved along through the grass until

Wild Encounter

OOC: Wild Shinx (Level 3, male) appeared! (Really weird doing this for myself xD)



BIC: "Dratini", Leon commanded strongly as the Dratini hopped from behind him and wiggled infront to face the Pokemon. You could tell it was being serious yet it was still rather cute from doing this. "Thunder Wave", Leon ordered followed by Dratini using it's attack. From the attack the Shinx was paralyzied. "Wrap", Leon ordered the next attack. Dratini wrapped around the Shinx's torso and squeezed it causing some damage to it. After a few moments the Shinx appeared to weaken and Leon threw a Poke Ball. After a moment of shaking the ball stopped and the Shinx was captured. Dratini was circling the ball happily as Leon walked over to pick it up.
Afterwards, he looked at his Pokedex to see what the Shinx he caught was in better detail. He read the information for a moment before putting it away. "An electric type, this should be of use", he thought to himself now putting the Poke Ball away on his belt.

 

OOC:I think I'm getting along just fine with my partners...not sure about the others...
BIC: "Maybe we should try the pokemon league? Take turns fighting the gym leaders....though unless I get a water or grass type I'll have a bit of trouble at Pewter Gym..."Valerie said. Suddenly her stomach gave a low growl from hunger. "hehehe....Maybe we should stop for a bite to eat..."she said nervously.

 

"yeah that sounds like a good idea. The only one here who stands a chance against brock is water boy" Seth said and noticed her stomach growl. Well we are almost there so you guys decide if you want to wait or not" Seth said

BIC: "Oh, don't make fun of Jordan! He's from Cerulean City, what would you expect?"Valerie said, hands on her hips.

 

"Well, it a pretty nice calm place. Alot of Rivers, lakes, and ponds. The people there are either laid back or really enterjetic. You all would like it there." Jordan then thought about the second question. "Misty is a nice bubbly person. She has some awesome Water Pokemon. Including this Gyarados that wickly powerful, but she don't like using him because she afriad it might tear up the gym, and go on a rampage."

"We can do the same thing when we get to Cerulean City! My family has there very own Lake! It holds all sorts of Water Pokemon, and some other Pokemon who normally stop by. Including that one....." Jordan trailed off.

Queendra started to fall asleep on Jordan's shoulder.

"Excuse me? Do you something against Water types?" Jordan barked at Seth.

 

OOC: You do know there where 4 Musketeers right? Just one of them was a sixth ranger.

Anywho, some of the groups aren't working well since they either don't post enough or aren't on as much as other people in this thread. Hopefully it'll be better later on, people are probably busy with stuff xD

 

"Lets seee....Oh! The S.S Ann! Oh you should be there when it comes to port! Every thing is so great! When I was 8 my parents took me to the boat for this big party! I got to see some real pokemon battles! They were sooo great!"Valerie said, smiling.

OOC:Pffft, I know I got the name of the boat wrong.XD

 

"I heard about that boat! I bet it was amazing to go on it! Did you see any cool Flying or Water types while on board?" Jordan started to say then asked. "What was the coolest battle you saw on there?"

 

"We saw some flocks of pidgeys and Spearows while on deck, and it you looked at the ocean you could see Lots and lots of Goldeen and Seaking! It was awesome... I don't really know which one was my favorite, but I remember this cute Meowth that came up to me. I wanted to keep it but my parents said that I couldn't have a pokemon until I was 10."Valerie sighed. "of course, Now I have Static and my new pokemon Barry."she added.

 

"I've been on the S.S Ann before. A lot of people love to battle there. I was only 7 when with my parents and and watched my dad beat all of them in a pokemon battle" Seth said

 

"I was 8 when I got on for the first time. My mom was with some of her friends, she wasn't much of a trainer."Valerie said. "and there were so many kids with their started pokemon! It was so cool!"she said.
