Pokemon: The National Journey

"Isn't there a Radio Tower with an observation deck open to the public?", Leon asked Akane, his face showing slight puzzlement from his eyes. His Dratini seemed interested with the ground, the grass here was different from Blackthorn, though Blackthorn is a mountain so the grass is more rugged while near Pallet Town it's very soft.

 

"of course you do we only just started our journey" Seth said as he took his Nidoran and Pidgey

 

"Right, Right."Valerie said with a small nod.

 

OCC:.......um it was a tie?so like where is my guy and my pokemon? D:

 

ooc: With me, who is with you, we haven't moved.
BIC: Mage was crushing some berries and leaves, to create a medicine to heal Blaze's wounds. she spread it on Blaze's wounds, though it stung him a bit.
Strawberry returned with more berries and flowers.

 

OOC:Head to the pokemon center to heal your pokemon. Thats what you should always do if you're pokemon are seriously hurt.XD

 

Terry watched Mage mess with the berries.He had a somewhat confused look on his face trying to figure out what was going on.He started to scratch the back of his head."Mage when are we gona go to the gym!!!"Terry said in quite the whiney tone.

 

Mage rubbed Blaze's head, then put him down. "Healed, no big injuries.... Let's go."

 

Terry jumped up and was full of excitment."Yay!"he shouted in an overjoyed manner.Blaze squeaked in joy as well as he jumped upon Terrys shoulder."Lets go!"Terry said.

 

Mage sighed with pity, she walked slowly to the city. She was tired though, but could last long enough.

 

"Yeah, but people aren't allowed up there at night thanks to the Team Rocket event a few years ago. And even if you were, the lights from the city are still too bright, I'm sure there'd be very few stars visible," Akane said. She watched as her Houndour scampered ahead a few yards to sniff and dig. The ground wasn't as hard packed from people walking here as it was near Goldenrod, and she was sure there were many more scents for Flashfire to pick up.

 

((This gets a bit frustrating having a relatively inactive team...))

 

Leon looked at his map on his PokeGear. "Kanto is a relatively peaceful place around this side, though from looking at the map it's got it's own block of cities", he stated as he turned off the map application. They where only a few minutes from Viridian now. There where less Pokemon around at this time of day.

 

Akane listened to Leon. After he finished speaking, she said, "I've heard that the Celedon and Saffron areas are the most populated...but that was only from the people I talked to from the Magnet Train."
She could see the lights of Viridian now, and said, "Should we camp out just outside of town, or should we see if there's an inn?"

 

Leon slanted his hat downward more to cover most of his eye line. He then pulled it back up as he moved his head up and looked towards the nearing city. "We should see if we can find a hotel or a place to stay, maybe the Pokemon Centre let's trainers stay overnight", he thought aloud as they got closer to the city.

 

"Good plan, the more money we can save now, the better," Akane said.
She looked at him for a moment. "By the way...what's with the hat?" she asked.

 

"I thought it looked cool, like in the movies", Leon joked, his serious face not showing a crack of laughter but he was clearly joking.

 

And Natsu was nowhere to be found, he was outside of Veridian looking around for Nocturnal Pokemon to Catch he was up in a tree waiting for some rustles in the grass... Natsu thought "Nothing yet"

 

OCC: before i make another post is the city gym open or do i have to go to brocks?

 

Akane could tell Leon was joking, and she laughed at what he said. "Fair enough, fair enough," she said, still giggling. They were at the outskirts of Viridian now, and she it was then she realized how tired she was. Akane looked at Flashfire, and she saw the little puppy yawn, and Leon's Dratini's eyes were drifting shut.
"We'd better get to the Pokemon Center soon, I think we're all about to drop," she said to Leon.
