Nearly flipped when I saw this on Tumblr. Let me be the first to say I really like the Character Customization aspect. It may be extremely limited but its nice.

Elikiteru is easily my favorite 6th gen revealed so far. Majorly dislike it's English name though. Based on the info that Pokemon Smash hinted at, Sylveon being effective to ice and dragon but weak to poison, it seems to be a new type. Also,

X and Y looks pretty good graphic wise but for the pokemon... GameFreak is running out of ideas.

Once again, people insist that GameFreak are running out of ideas.
Yes, let's all remember the good old generation, where we had inventive ideas such as... a ball and a pile of sludge. And let's not forget the ever-imaginitive... rock.
GameFreak have always been good at designing interesting and unique creatures for their games, but that doesn't mean every single one of them is going to be an inspired work of art. People need to stop confusing "running out of ideas" with "I am a sucker for nostalgia".

As far as I'm concerned, all the designs in this generation have been great so far. I love Froakie and Gogoat looks like a pretty tough Grass-type that could be useful on any team. Really looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this generation; I have a feeling this is going to be one of my favourites.

I agree. Chespin looks like a normal-type cosplaying a Grass-type, and yet I find it adorable and really creative! Usually we have stuff like dinosaurs that are grass-types, but a squirrel thing? That's a great twist!

The new things are quite good really. The graphics have improved remarkable and after seeing the protagonists more, they look less blocky and more enjoyable. The new Pokemon themselves look quite good. The bird however is still the same old generic normal/ flying type that I am beginning to dread, but it is a must for a Pokemon game.

Should I remind you about Trubbish? *I haven't even played since Ruby and I heard about that Pokemon*

Anywho, I'm eh about this game. I just think Pokemon has become a cash cow on how much you need to do to "catch em all" without resorting to, you know, cheating. My wallet really can't afford hundreds of dollars of games to get five hundred to six hundred pokemon. One of the biggest reasons I started playing the games is to catch them all. The last game I played was Black and I only got to the first gym. Granted, I liked the storyline, but the choices of Pokemon other than catching repeats and trading was so drastically reduced I couldn't even go to the first gym with a full belt. And no, I couldn't get my Wifi to work.

I might get this game, but I'm leaning heavily towards no right now just because it just seems more like you have to trade and/or use a cheat code to get any pokemon you really want.

And what about Trubbish is any less original or creative than a ball or a pile of goo? Hell, the first generation had an entire Pokémon dedicated to not being original in Ditto; it's entire point is to not be its own design.
A lot of the first gen Pokémon were just animals with exaggerated features, like Rattata, Spearow, Krabby, and several others. You can't try to claim that any generation, let alone the one that we haven't seen all of yet, is any less than the original 151.
Repeating a point here, but I love the designs of the Pokémon we've been shown so far, and I'm confident that I will continue to love this and all future generations of Pokémon.

So, there's also two new pokemon. Noivern and Villion.
    [IMG] Villion is Bug/Flying type
[IMG] Noivern is a Flying/Dragon type and the first dual type to have flying as it's primary type.
    Both look pretty awesome imo.

I really like the look of Villion. Its pretty and I hope it will be strong like Volcarona was.
That Voicern thing though... I don't like it. It looks ugly. It really does.

Really liking the new Pokémon designs. You'd think a butterfly would be overly-done, then GameFreak pulls this. Well done indeed.
