It wasn't a good term for me, keep in mind. The stress of the subjects and workload was overloading and I had some pretty big emotional/social problems to go through. To top it off, I got into mmos while in a depression. That's not very smart, and quite frankly I'd never let myself go down that rabbit hole again. So: Term GPA: 2.00 Art Appreciation: D Chemistry in a Changing World: D Intro to Professional Communications: A- World Literature II- B Applied Statistics (second time)- D Overall GPA: 2.99 Goals next term: No D's, whatever I do. Try and get on honor roll again. Get myself a job, check ws first to see if availability was given, if not applying is a decent option. Convince adviser to put me into the new social media concentration under the testing group.
So I'm in my Freshman year of College and it was pretty good. I'm kinda proud. Still waiting on one grade though, CORE: DISCOVER NEW YORK A CORE:LITERATURE IN GLOBAL CONTEXT A WORLD HISTORY I A- CORE: PUBLIC SPEAKING COLLEGE STUDIES A Current Term GPA: 3.92 Cumulative GPA: 3.88 (I got college credit from the college I'm at now from High School) But yeah, next semester I'm going to die because I decided to take six classes. Pray for me lol
I honestly wasn't a fan of this semester just because of Graphic Production, but at least it's done and over now. Can't say I like that I got a C in one of my classes, but it probably also had to do with the fact that I couldn't get my book till after the first week's assignment was due, so I missed on some points. GPA: 3.57 Human Resources in Technology: C Graphic Production Control: B+ Video Production I: A Content Strategy and Development: B+ New GPA: 3.44 Gotta get that GPA back up
Video Editing - 90 Producing and Directing for Acting 2: Pre-Production - 85 Stage Production - 80 Term GPA: 3.81 Cumulative GPA: 4.06 This was actually my lowest term yet. :/ They guys in charge of a play I was doing were very unprofessional. Just the last semester I had (which didn't need as many credits): JMC 465 Telling Stories with Data - B JMC 484 Internship - Y MCO 473 Sex, Love, Romance-Mass Media - A+ (The Y is basically a "Pass" for the internship)
Man, i wish all schools did that grading system. I'd have a much higher GPA right now if that were the case. I say so because I'm taking a chance at taking classes to get transferred to Texas A&M, and I need a good GPA, and having a 3.5 or higher would have been helpful.
