Dream Drop Distance Question about Frollo (spoilers)

    Why does he die twice? That's one thing I don't understand from the game.

    It was actually explained in Traverse Town, although it was very vague.

    Sora and Riku are actually in two different versions of the same world, hence why they never run into each other even if they're in the same world. The events that happen in one side of the world don't effect, or effect very little, the other side of the world.
    So something that happened when you're playing as Sora doesn't effect what happens when you're playing as Riku.

    Still trying to decide if this gameplay mechanic is clever or lazy, butyea.

    I understood the part about the two versions of the same world part. It's just that in Country of the Musketeers and Symphony of Sorcery, what happened to while playing as one character would affect the other. Although, now that I think about it, Yen Sid did mention how the flow of time is messed up in the sleeping worlds, so maybe that could be why.

    Putting this in spoilers in case you didn't beat the game yet.

    They are in different versions but it's because Sora is dreaming and Riku is inside Sora's dream as a dream eater.
