Is it somehow possible to play Nintendo DS games through a Wii, without being in possession of an NDS? I know I'll be getting a Wii eventually, but there are a couple of games which I wanted to get my hands on that are for the NDS - which I don't have, and very well doubt I'll be getting. :/

Well not that I know of. You can probably get other system games from the Shop. But the DS games are particularly for the DS itself, I presume.

Unfortunately, no. =\ The DS and Wii can connect wirelessly (for future titles), but you actually need a functioning DS to play a DS title.

I know you could play Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow/Gold/Silver on the N64, but you still needed the adapter pack and the correct version of Pokemon Stadium to do so.

Is that the same when dealing with D/P and Pokemon Battle Revolution?

I know data from D/P can be transferred to Battle Revolution, but I have no idea if there's a DS emulator integrated on Battle Revolution to support remote play on the Wii for D/P.

I personally haven't tried Battle Revolution, so I couldn't really tell you. XD
