Ready Or Not

Ondia glared at the wild cat. before letting her hand slip to the side of her, the rock floating by her side fell with a hard thud it was clear that the wild cat was another refugee. Ondia watched the creature slowly pad up to the rock shelter. She thought for a second before following the animal at a slow and curious pace but she didnt let her gaurd slip
'You Didnt answer my question' Ondia said over the crickets as she levitated the roof of the shelter back on.

 

OOC: Sorry, I haven't replied yet, I wanted to read the previous posts first, and I just now had the time to do so.
And I'm confused about the place where the Organization was. It is like a secret hideout for them? I assume yes and I'm going to go along with it, and I'll edit my post if I have to in order to fix life. XD

Roxas had just gotten back from his trip to the river. The river and the fireflies always helped him clear his thoughts. After his dispute with fellow member Vexen, he knew he needed to clear off some steam. Luckily the river was close and he wouldn't risk getting caught in case something were to happen.
Though often times he wonders what has become of the man and his son that had taken care of him soon after he was released from testing and just before he was recruited into this place. He was so humble, but he had no sure-fire explanation of why he always seemed troubled. He shrugged it off, that's for next time. He left his horse in its pen and went inside to sleep, seeing tracks left by more horses. "What could they be up to this late?" commenting to himself and he went inside.


Piero looked to Bill. "Tough time today?" Piero had grown a liking to most of his troop mates, even if he seemed to do exceptionally better than them. "I know it seems strange, but once we rid the world of the refugees, everything will be much easier." He put his hand on Bill's shoulder. "Rest up. Tomorrow we get to do it all over again!" With his fake enthusiasm he went off to his bunk.

Xioimara paused her steps for a moment as Onida urged her to answer the question. Xioimara simply put her ears back, "You shouldn't be so open about what you are." Xioimara said, "You can sleep under the rock." She nodded towards the shelter. A tree wasn't too far from the rock. Mountain lions weren't much of tree cats unlike their not so distant relative, the Jaguar. Xioimara jumped into the tree quite gracefully and clawed onto one of its thick branches to keep hold. She laid down on the branch with her head resting on her paw.
The sun was coming up soon.

Marluxia arrived back at their camp. He dismounted his horse and hitched it to one of the rails by the pen. He walked hurriedly towards the Superior's office and knocked on the door.

"They aren't doing anything to us though. I don't think they will either." Bill sighed. "Goodnight to you as well." He headed off to his tent. Their beds weren't much. A blanket laid on the ground and a pillow. He laid down and looked up. Bill had a pretty rough idea that he wouldn't be able to kill someone if he had to. 'Aren't some of these refugees children?' He pondered all the questions until he fell asleep.

Ondia watched the lion gracefully climb the tree with ease. Ondia thought of a second before putting up her hood she didnt know if she could yet trust this stanger she just met, Ondia carefully watched the cats every move till she had crawled inside the shelter. She was soon sleeping. But soon angry tearful painful memories flowed through the deep scars of Ondias memories and into her dreams. She shoot up, banging her head in the process. Ondia tasted the salty taste of tears. She was crying. She listened as rustleing came from outside the shelter, Ondia was pretty sure she had woken the sleeping cat.

 

Xemnas was at his desk, pouring over a large stack of books. His studying was interruped by a soft but anxious knock at his door. Disatisfied with the inconvenience, the leader closed his book and folded his hands ontop of his desk "Enter," Xemnas boomed. "Who is it and what is the emergency?"

 

Marluxia entered Xemnas' office. He seemed slightly annoyed at the interruption. "I believe I have good reason for the Organization to move out." Marluxia started, "Not too far from here an army lot is." He said. "Not too big. Only about 50 but if we did get rid of them there will probably send an even bigger troop after us. What do you suggest we do?"

Xioimara awoke to a thudding sound. She hadn't slept well at all. The constant sounds of coyotes whimpering, or wind waking her up. A thudding pain coursed through her skull. Xioimara groaned and looked up. The sun was rising. She jumped out of the tree and stalked over to the rock. She paid little mind to the fact that the girl was crying. Xioimara's training during the Armenian ethnic cleansing had left her a tad emotionless towards pity. "I'm heading out. If anyone asks you if you've seen me, you saw nothing. Ok?"

 

"Where are they located?" Xemnas didn't even seem moved by the thought of the oncoming force. "If the opportunity arises, we could deal a savage blow to our enemies. By the way, what is the word on Xiomiara? I don't see her along side you." Putting on a pair of reader spectacles, he returned to reading the book infront of him.

 

Ondia noded unsurely. She watched as the cat made her way down to the dusty road below, Ondia folded her arms and sighed as she went back inside the damp shelter. part of her wanted to follow the lion while part of her told it be safe to go it alone. She peered out of the rock again to see the lion was already far in the distance, Ondia tucked herself in back inside but as she did she heared hurried horse hoofs she quickly looked out to see a man riding on horse back quickly he was wearing a black coat. Ondia channeled out all other noises best as she could and listened to hear the man saying
'Xioimara..I'm coming!'. Unsure Ondia dived out of the shelter and chased after the man.

"We located her tracks at the canyon where the army is also residing." Marluxia hoped the Superior wouldn't get angry about him leaving Xigbar alone. "Number II is currently tracking down Xioimara. I told him I would catch up." The Assassin added before any word about it could be said.

Xioimara's rolled her eyes as she heard the girl call her. There was a sense of urgency in her voice. Xioimara rushed to go meet up with Onida. As she neared, Xioimara slowed down. A familiar figure was in the distance near the girl. Xioimara squinted, she recognized the cloak quickly and the scar on the side of the mans face. She backed up with a small gasp and turned to get the Hell out of there as soon as possible. Xioimara looked back as the figure got smaller and smaller. She doubted Xigbar would hurt Onida. As long as she acted clueless anyways.

The only flaw in Onida getting away unscathed is that she had already shouted Xioimara's name. Xioimara darted off her path towards more rocky and higher ground. She had second thoughts about continuing her run from Xigbar and instead to go back and help Onida. God forbid he did hurt her.

 

"Very well," Xemnas said. The defector was the least of his problems at the moment. Right now he had to plan his assault and defeat the military forces that had tracked them down so far. At first Xemnas wondered how they had found them so quickely. Then again, a governments reach is always far stretching when under the shadow of confideniality. "Round up our entire force, position them on top of the canyon walls. Once our timing is right, we'll assault them from above."

 

Ondia watched as Xioimara didnt even give a look back. Ondia's eyes turned the angriest blue as she turned round she gave a starled sigh to see the man who was chasing Xionmara standing in front of her with a look of pure hate.

He had a scar on one side of his face, the man laughed. Ondia slowly started backing up, but the man trapped her into the coner on the outside of the rock shelter.

'No! G-get away!' She shouted with a plea as she laviated the roof on the rock shelter in front of her hoping to use to protect herself. The man gave a quick suprise stare at the girls power before asking
'Where is she?' Urge hurried his voice. Ondia looked back up the mountains further in the distance before looking back. Even though she had been left to fight for herelf she wasnt going give up where the mountain lion ran too.
'Not going to tell me?' The man questioned, Ondia noded before lashing out trying to hurt the man wearing the black cloak. Ondia planned had failed, the man easily dodged her attack moves and sent the rock back with a mighty hit ,Ondia fell to the floor her vision was becoming blured her eyes fluttered closed into unconsciousness as the man was reaching out to grab her

 

OOC: Xigbar was walking on foot, he abandoned his horse.

Xigbar grinned at her, and laughed, as he drew his arrow guns, he looked around, and noticed the wild cat tracks, and stalked along them, "here kitty kitty, I'm not going to hurt you or your freind, as long as you come out now," he said.

Luxord was a bit bored and was playing with his cards.

 

While Roxas was walking around, he came across Luxord. "Hey.." He said as he lied against the door frame in his tan raincoat. Not that it was raining, but he liked it. He took off the raincoat to reveal a white button-up shirt and a navy blue vest. "Mind if I join you?"

 

"Not at all" said luxord. "the more the merrier."

Xioimara snarled as she could faintly here Xigbar trying to challenge her. She turned back headed towards Xigbar. Instead of following the road however, she stayed hidden in the rocks. She loved having a tan coat that blended with almost all of the terrain. She was in no rush to fight though she did make prideful and strong strides as she could start to make out Xigbar and barely Onida's outline.
Xioimara pulled her lips and whiskers back but didn't make a sound. Stalking was the key to surprise. She started away from the rocky hill, it was starting to hurt her paws. Xioimara tried to stay in the tallest parts of the dead elephant grass as she neared her enemy.

True, she didn't want to attack Xigbar. The more she thought about it the more she didn't want to attack him. Then again, the more she thought about it the more she remembered she hated the Organization. The more she remembered she was really just an animal. She preferred being left on the side of the road than having to go back to the Superior. Of whom would probably just leave her on the side of the road anyways.
Her thoughts of any guilt started to disappear the more she neared in on Xigbar. Their friendship was the past. The past is time. Time is made up. Their friendship didn't exist to Xioimara anymore. Only the future and even if that meant having to attack or kill Xigbar.

 

Xigbar looked around, he thought that he had heard a sound from in the grass, Xiomera is probably stalking me, I can't kill her though, need to bring her back to the supperior, he thought. Making a portal, Xigbar reached his upper body through it, his guns aimed to Xiomera's form, "you have to come back with me, or else the supperior will kill both me and Murlaxa," he said in a gentle tone.

 

The mountain lion ignored Xigbar's threats. She could've sworn he was a better liar. He opened a portal. She had second thoughts about attacking. If he had the portal open, she could just push him through it? Yes, she could imagine herself bolting forward, pouncing and simply kicking him through the portal. Xioimara needed to elaborate more. There was no time to think. He had spotted her and she had to move fast to avoid damage. No time. No time. No time. In an instant she decided with her half planned action. She lunged forward towards Xigbar's form with her only aim to kick him into the portal and run.
