Ready Or Not

Ondia began to regain consciousness, she blinked to see herself staring at somebodys feet she looked to the side to notice a scar covering one half of a face.
It was the man who had beat her. He was carrying her over his shoulders?. Too weak to act out or even speak she just simply listened, she could hear the mans voice and growls of an animal. Xioimara!. he man seemed to trying to reason with the her. Ondia whimpered slightly but quitely. The vocies had stopped, Ondia could almost feel the tense building. Was her capturer and Xioimara about to fight?
Suddenly she heard Xionmaras paws leave the ground, Ondia slightly looked up to see the lion lunging toward her and the man.

 

Xigbar grinned as Xiomera fell into his trap, he leaped back into the portal, which instantly began to grow, until Xiomera couldn't possibly go around it, and it seemed that she was moving to fast to stop in time.

 

He moved. She knew she should've thought it through. With every passing second she hated Xigbar a little bit more. The mountain lion lost her footing as she met the other side of the portal. With a growl she landed on her side. Disoriented for a moment she stayed motionless on the ground. Xioimara opened her eyes and quickly got to her feet. Marluxia and Xemnas were there.

"What the hell is your problem?" Xioimara demanded as she glared at Xemnas.

 

Ondia listened as Xioimara was almost snarling. Who ever she was talking to it sure wasnt the man carrying her now, Ondia could tell the girl felt nothing but pure hate toward the person she was talking too.
Ondia mummbled
'W-whats happening...'
After being awake for nearly the hole time she finally had enough strength to form a 3 word sentecne. but even that seemed to worn her out.

 

A breeze blew over the earth scorched by the noon sun. The wind pick up the baked dust of the desert. Xemnas narrowed his eyes to keep the dirt getting caught in his eyes. Lifting up his arm he grabbed a hankercheif from his sleeve and wiped his brow with it. Coldly, Xemnas glared down the face of the canyon walls, analyzing the militiary detachment below him. It was worse than he thought. The enemy force numbered 70 strong. Marluxia was flustered at the time and was making sure he got back alive. Considering that, Xemnas couldn't blame him. It didn't matter anyways.

Gazing across the canyon, Xemnas examined his own military might. Mounted atop each side of the canyon walls, Xemnas's entire group of refugees were assembled. Each one manned a boulder, ready to push them down the ravine and start a cascade of rock to entome their pursuers. Even Xiomara was present, but not as willingly as the rest. If she could choose, the girl would have left them all to rot under the desert sun. The only thing that was stopping her was a strange sense of companion ship with the assasin and Xigbar. Maybe their nurturing nature was actually usefull.

Gripping his hankerchief, Xemnas extended his arm outward. Ready to drop it into the canyon. That would be the signal. Xemnas paused, waiting for the soldiers to get in the right spot to spring his trap. For a moment, his heard fluttered. Only for a moment.

 

Marluxia stood ready at the top of the canyon. He didn't understand why they couldn't just surround them by spreading out and scare them away. Deep down Marluxia knew he should be in charge of the Organization. He was the rightful leader. Marluxia awaited the command like a dog waiting for the signal to get food. He held his scythe by his side and kept an eye on the soldiers below.

Xioimara impatiently stood in between Marluxia and Xigbar. She huffed a breathe and rolled her eyes. The hackles on the back of her neck rose with every agonizing moment she was forced into this. She glared over at Xemnas as she awaited his command. To him it was attack. To her it was enough of distraction to run away.

Bill arose early that morning but had found it as a better choice to stay at camp. He had a bad premonition about the day and he could see why it was coming true. The most notorious of all the Refugees was setting up an attack right above them. And he was stuck right in the middle of this future war. There looked to be more than the army had assumed. Maybe it was just cause they had spread out around the canyon? He did notice they had an array of members and so it appeared to be, a cougar as a pet? How peculiar...

 

Roxas stood ready. His boulder on the edge of the canyon cliff, and he knew that he blew on it, it soon would fall. He watched patiently at the superior, a little impartial to his actions, though at the same time feeling the tiniest bit guilty about his soon-to-be slaughters. But he knew that something... had to... "Achoo". Right as he sneezed, the boulder rolled forward and off the cliff, not only be the force of his breath, but the large motion of his body had made simultaneously. It seemed that he had just made the biggest mistake yet. he sat there frozen. Afraid of what the superior would do to him.

Piero awoke to a strange sound. While inside, he thought that someone was moving some sort of equipment. But it was much too staggered to be and thing flat on the ground, and it was definitely getting closer. He quickly got up and ran outside the door. See a giant boulder coming down the mountain, he knew it must have been a set up. The refugees were making there stand. he knew the best tactic was to sit quietly until it was over and then strike when all thought he was dead. Surprise is always the best defense.

 

Ondia woke up with a throbbing headache, she rubbed it as she tried to recall what had happened.
She remebered being placed onto a small bed by a blonde haired boy wearing the same cloak as the man who attacked her. She thought harder, but the harder she thought the more her head hurt she recalled nearly everyone she had saw briefly was wearing the same coat. Some type of organization? she questioned herself. She peered around.
'This must be there hideout' Ondia said while curiously peering around, she stood up and began to look around

 

"FFFFF-" Xemnas spat, his hand crushing his hankerchief. Roxas sprung the trap too soon. Now the trap will be ill effective. He has no choice. any longer and he'll have bullets zipping up through his nads and into his skull. Narrowing his amber eyes, he whipped down his piece of cloth and turned his back on the canyon.

 

Xigbar looked after Xemnas, "what do you want me to do about those Military down below, I could kill most of them from up here," he said.

 

"No!" Xioimara hissed at Xigbar's comment. "Launch the attack, Superior." Xioimara beckoned, her golden eyes keeping a close eye on Xemnas. He was aggravated. He knew they were done for.
Well, at least Xioimara would've had the chance to live if they hadn't forced her back to this hellhole. Xioimara turned her attention back to the bottom of the canyon.

Marluxia watched as the plan fell dead on the ground. He looked at Roxas. He shifted his eyes back towards Xemnas. "We're going to get killed if we stay up here," He started. "We'd be safer going hand-to-hand than staying up here like sitting ducks." No. He wasn't suggesting they run down and attack. He was suggesting they run. Or dig their graves.

"Get your rifle!" Bill warned Piero as the camp had sprung into action to try and terminate the Organization. He ran to his tent and grabbed his rifle. As he moved he did think about whether they were attacking just because they could or because they were being threatened. He pushed his thoughts aside as he knelt down beside his tent and took aim. He fired.

"Do it already, Old Man!" Xioimara hassled Xemnas as a bullet grounded itself not even an inch from her paw.

 

ooc: Um... he didn't give up. He through down the cloth to signify to start the attack now. He was only angry that it would now be less devastating than it could have been.

 

Xigbar drew his arrow guns, and combined them into a sniper rifle, "I'll snipe from up here, and send my sniper minions through portals around the canyon, so that they won't know where I realy am, if they do find me, I can always Escape through a portal," he said, as a portal appeared, "this one leads to the bottom of the canyon, anyone who is participating should go through now."
