Return of Kira

"What do you want?" She asked, turning around faster then she ment to. Causing the pain to sear into a state where it felt like her flesh was tearing "Make it quick."

 

"If this is the Near which Kira was talking of, then I have a message for you" the voice on the phone said.



"Why do you care?" matt asked her, simply, as he quickly took notice to the possible sign that might have been being given to Lana, due to Near putting his hand in his pocket. Such was an uncommon thing to do after all.

 

He pointed to the door as in telling her to leave ""I'm listening"

 

"Heh, I am not used to this kind of thing, so here it goes" the person at the phone said, now clearing his voice, trying to make it sound deeper, though it did not matter really since it was all just heard on a computer anyway.

"A dark figure surrounded in light,
a black plague spreads across,
a sacrifice made killing hundreds,
the cure revealed,
the simple turning of the wheel and the new kira becomes god.

A country held hostage for long,
a shady figure shall appear,
an old acquintance of the god and all shall be revealed...



Well, okay then, nice chatting with you there near. Have fun" the voice said, and then, the phone disconnected. Not as if he had hung up, but as if it had been broken off, as if the phone was crushed or something

 

"Why do I care? Because I'm a human, because I don't like seeing others hurting. And that's what gets me about you, you can just kill as though it doesn't matter. But think of the lives you have ruined. There are children without parents, sisters with brothers. And lovers without their partners because you were bored. That's why I care. I care because someone has to and it sure as hell isn't going to be you."

 

He hanged up the phone and put it in his pocket "you're going to put to the death senctnce. You know that right?" He told Matt without looking at him still

 

"You see, there is a little problem with that there. Of course, if I told you, then there wouldn't be much fun in that, now would there" he said. "Well then, when will my sentence be?" he asked

He then quickly turned to L, and said "Ok, thanks. That was all I really needed to know.", and then turned back to Near, as if totally blowing off her resolve, what she was saying not even glazing him a bit, almost as if insulting her resolve.

 

"We're are alike sadly." He puased for a second. "As soon as possible"

 

Lana exhaled loudly. before turning once more and leaving the room.

 

"Aint that ashame. Are we talking months? Weeks? Days?" he asked.

 

"Minutes" He said watching L leave

 

"Isn't that a shame. Then I suppose that all is lost for them" he muttered

 

He looked at Matt. "Speak."

 

Matt grinned. "Well, my death will only lead to the deaths of so many others. Think of that cute little speech that L there said about people. Can you picture what kind of speech she can give after the real chaos begins?" he asked.

 

He walked over to him and looked at him face to face. "Normally I love playing game but not at the cost of inocents. Tell me what do you mean now"

 

L calmly walked down a deserted corridor before leaning against the plain, dingy grey walls. She sighed sadly before slowly sliding down it onto the floor, slowly she removed her sunglasses as teardrops began to fall from her dark eyes.

bic: "Why, tell me, did you really think that I had crashed those planes for the mere reason of my boredum? I gave a reason, but not the full story. Havn't you been paying attention to anything happening in this country?"
