Return of Kira

"I know." She smiled "I know. Stop worrying so much, I'll be... I dunno..." Lana sighed, giving up on her remaining hope.

 

"You'll be fine."

 

"I'm not so sure... I have a really, really bad feeling about this..." She mumbled, tears now rolling down her face. Fear obvious in her eyes and in her face as she clutched her knees close to her chest.

 

Near stood up and went over to the side of her bed. "Please stop crying."

 

"Sorry sir..." Lana mumbled weakly, trying to wipe her fallen tears from her face. Only to find that they had been replaced by new, warmer and freshly fallen ones. "I... I... I'm just..."

 

He couldn't think of anything to say. For once he had no usful idea. He felt so sorry for her. Then he did something that he never did. He huged Lana.

 

Lana's crying eyes snapped wide open as she felt his arms wrap around her. Never in a million years had she expected that to happen, she'd thought about it, surposed about it but never had she for once second believed that he would. But, for once she wasn't thinking with her head as usual. Tears still cascading down her pale face she hugged him back, tightly clutching onto his shirt. She was as scared as a small child in a thunderstorm and didn't know what else to do, and something as simple as that hug made her feel, if not safe, safer.

 

"You shouldn't worry so much." He said when she hugged him back. "i'll make sure you're safe."

 

Lana wordlessly nodded, her tears still falling heavily. And try as she might she couldn't stop them droping from her face onto his white shirt. Even though his words it comfort her the rising fear was still there. She didn't want to die anymore, life was too good at that moment. Even with the killings and the attacks, for once she didn't feel depressed, for once she felt good about herself and for once she felt as though her life had purpose and meaning. It was just her luck that at the second she felt as though things were looking up that something like this would happen...

 

He didn't want to see her like this. As they hugged he rested his head on her shoulder

 

"Sorry..." Lana mumbled, in a tear wrentched voice only just audioible it was so faint and weak.

 

"For what?"

 

"For being so pathetic..." She mumbled, her still fragile voice trailling off.

 

"Only an idoit never cries. This just means you're human."

 

"I've never seen you cry..." She mumbled "Not once..."

 

ooc: ahhhh. It pleases me so much to watch this. I simply cannot help it. You might say that my more evilish side is pleased about the whole ordeal of what is going on. to see them in such a weakend state. It is how one my say to be...........amusing. None the less though, hello, I am back, and I am in a very evilish mood (there is a different. Evil mood is my kind of evil. Evilish mood is kira kind of evil). I am really not myself today for some reason, and I am sayen it right now before I change my mind about saying this. it is kind of hard for me to tell to, but I feel as if something is really just........differnet, about myself today

After all, it is not as if I could possibly make any argument against your logic, since it does seem pretty good, even if you do just hang around men simply to use them and sleep with them for your own entertainment. It is a manipulative streak within you really, something that makes it seem as if all you want to do is control those around you for your bidding." he said, as he suddenly began to lauph.

 

OOC- :P Just be carfull, it may not weaken them as much as it brings the more stregth. You never know.

"I wouldn't say that the sleeping with them thing was purely for entertainment, sometimes one must do... certain things to advance oneself in the world. It's more of a, well. Additional qualifcation." Blondie remarked "Let me guess, the last bit sounded familiar?" She smirked, she had figured out a little while ago just what sort of a man Matt was. Though he wasn't as egocentric as Jake he's meglomania was certainly a large part of who he was. Though, he hadn't quite got every detail of her reasons pegged yet. But she expected that he would do soon enough.

 

"Yes, it is pretty much similure to what I had said." he said, as he started to stop lauphing. "And the last part I suppose did, but I honostly must say, I find you to be one of the most amusing things I have witnessed in ages" he said.

"I'm not to certain whether to be offended or not." She muttered raising an eyebrow at him. "And I'm more then certain you won't be falling for any of my tricks, mind. You seem far to intelligent for that. So I won't even try."

 

"Well, I honostly wouldn't mind if you had attempted to trick me. After all, I find it quite amusing when someone does indeed make the attempt. I can gaurentee though that if you attempted to kill me, then it will not work." he said. "And I do not know whether you should take offense to it or not either, but probably not" he said.
